My hose bib in the back of the house sprung a leak at the soldered joint. I actually reached out on an FB group called the Walnut Buzz asking everyone for recommendations and Chris came highly recommended, so I called him... he was very helpful sans was able to fix the leak and I had him replace the main shutoff with a ball valve to get rid of the old gate valve... I'm a happy camper! When I have time for more projects I'll be calling him again! Called Chris again... this time on an emergency... I tried to install a bum gun (like a bidet bit more like a water hose for your bum) but could stop it from leaking... ended up replacing the shutoff valve, and fill valve... was a bigger job than I anticipated, but Chris came to the rescue like a champ! This is a small business operated by the owner husband and wife who has been servicing in the walnut, West Covina, and surrounding areas for many years. My attempt to self install the bathroom faucet didn't go so well as I could not remove a stuck faucet caused by metal corrosion. Chris, the owner, removed the most stubborn faucet that had been on the sink for over 30 years and installed the new faucet for me. He is very passionate about his work and guarantees his services. Chris came when it was discovered that our original connection to our water main was incorrect. It seemed like a simple issue at first but when he reconnected the main, another section of our pipe burst, likely because it was so old/done from pvc instead of real piping. This caused a huge headache and a quick job ended up taking two days. Chris was amazing and really did everything he could to help us. Chris was also incredibly patient with us. My uncle, the owner of the house, is a notoriously difficult man to work with and freaked out when the other part of the pipe burst. My uncle was pretty unreasonable, but Chris followed through and still helped us out. My sisters and I were really appreciative of his willingness to finish the job even after my uncle's explosion. We received notice that the water district wanted one more thing adjusted at the main's connection and Chris agreed to come back and fix the issue free of charge since it was a simple fix. Chris and Nikki are amazing. They have been helping me for about 4 years now since my last home and have been so loyal to come out to my new home even when I was out of their city networking. They have come when I needed them the most and have done my small clog clean outs to my whole pipe replacement for my entire house (even when I haven't been the closest customer to them). I almost don't want to review them because I don't want anything to change where I can have Chris as my plumber forever. But I know his business is growing and hopefully it remains as successful and loyal and honest as both of them are since they started. Chris will tell you what's best for your home and won't try to do the most expensive thing first. Nicole was very friendly and kind. We asked if someone could come out and detect where our leak was coming from-we only heard hissing in the bathroom, she said no problem and we set an appointment for Chris to come out. Apparently, he doesn't do that, they hire out for that. He never inspected our bathroom and only told us we need to repipe our entire gone because of the year built. And then left. Unfortunately, when Chris showed up, he said the price was 50% more than she quoted me but since I was really tired of waiting for the problem to be fixed, I just agreed. Just want to start by saying this company is top notch. I called 2-2-18 around 2:45pm and asked what they charge to clean out a stoppage. The lady told me $40. I asked if they could do it today between 5 and 5:30pm. She asked if she could call me back so she could talk to the tech. She called me back within 5min and said yes they could do it TODAY at 5:15. I told her that would be fine. So right at 5:15 Chris the tech showed up. He asked me what drain it was. I had tried to unclog it myself but had no luck. Chris had it unclogged in 15min. Then gave me some advice on getting a new toilet. He was here about 20min. I will be recommending Chris and his company to all my friends and family. read more
