They were my furr-mily's vet for several years and treated my German Shorthaired Pointer from the time she was about three until she went to the rainbow bridge. In all the years I went here they took care of two dogs and four cats for me and I have very healthy animals compared to a lot of people I know. They performed the sterilization of a few of my kitties and they healed up wonderful. The have been the only vet my Labrador has known from the time he was a pup and he has some possible hip problems that we have discussed and I am always very appreciative of the approach they take with the care. They also take care of a ton of the livestock that are out in the farming community. I appreciate that they typically have in stock the medicine you need and can send you on the way. The prices put every other vet around the 50 mile radius to shame and I feel so grateful for that as I was able to take my animals to the vet instead of worrying about how I was going to pay for it....They had to remove a tumor from my dogs ear and it was only 85.00....a vet in AZ quoted me over 800 dollars to take care of this on my 13 year old dog.....and she was happy and healthy after the surgery and the ear healed up wonderfully....This is not the vet you want if you are high maintenance with the high maintenance animals that get massage and stay on doggie prozac---keep that business in the big town of rochester because you are as neurotic as those vets...half the people I know that use a big vet place in rochester have their animals on life-time medication and their animals are ill-behaved because they are starving them to death and keeping them all drugged up for disease they don't have.....I trust this clinic---I cannot say the same from what I have witnessed at other vets.

I've called and asked questions a couple of times about different things and I always felt like my inquiries were important to them. Once my dog ate a plastic cup and I was afraid he'd have to pass the sharp bits, they got us in right away and gave me some maple flavored lubricant for him to eat a few times to get it through comfortably. We get reminders by mail and when we had to put our first dog down, we got a card from them then as well. We often take good company and service for granted, we forget to say thank you to those who treat us kindly, so here's my thank you to these caring individuals for keeping my pups happy and healthy.

This place is exceptionally poorly run…read more I recently moved to the area and attempted to establish care for my high needs senior dog at this clinic. It was a nightmare. At every point of contact the ball was dropped in some way. I was told they carried meds in stock that they did not, I was told timelines for recieving ordered meds that were more than a week off, the vet attempted to perscribe a medication that would have had potentially lethal drug interactions with my dog's other meds (I caught his mistake in time, but I believe he did this because he didn't read her chart,) and I ordered meds through the clinic that they forgot to order. This fiasco caused my formerly stable senior dog to be off her meds for nearly 3 weeks where she was suffering. Since finally getting her back on everything she has once again stabilized but it seems some of the losses to her condition are perminant. This experiance has likely cost me several months off of her health span and at her age every single day with her where she's pain free and active is precious. I'm furious that that I had to micromanage this staff to get her adaquate care, and that when the day comes that I have to let her go that I'll be thinking of how much time this clinic's poor logistics cost us. I think I'm gonna send our old vet office flowers.

Similar to the review on 3/30/24…read more My dog has been seen for ear and belly infections with a requirement for her to be seen at a 75-dollar charge each time since 2021 I went into today to discuss my issue, and the vet told me they require a visit because it keeps the lights on. I got zero confirmation from the groomer that she is using clean tools and isolating her tools from other dogs. I was debating with the owner, why I should pay a visit fee for the recurring issues. The owner or vet told me he would not reimburse me for the last 2- or 3-year apts and the numerous charges that might be related to their groomer he could not confirm nor wanted to discuss. He continued to say "These charges help the clinic keep their lights on" For the past 3 years, I have paid over 1,000 in medications and visits but there still is no accountability nor a care plan set up to handle these issues. I am seeing another groomer and another vet. Care Plan on my end: 1. Bought hypo treats and food 2. Wash her with medicated shampoo But after every grooming, she gets an ear infection or a belly infection. Its not the dog, its the vet. All issues aside, I would not recommend this place based on the owner's attitude and not admitting to the issue.
