Excellent Staff-Excellent Doctors; I got referred here for my root canal, I was suffering from pressure headaches and hot/cold sensitivity for about two months. When I called, the receptionist was friendly and willing to work with my schedule to get me in ASAP. They took X-rays to be thorough and to double check where I was having pain, and I appreciate that! The assistants here were also very helpful and kind. Once I was numb my pain was gone and has stayed that way!! They also double checked with X-rays at the end. It was fast and painless. I was referred to this place by my normal dentist for a root canal that he couldnt do but recommended Root 66. They gave me a estimate to do a root canal on a tooth in the very back. This tooth is in the very back ,i advised them i was willing to pull it if too expensive,so why would i agree to pay 150.00 just to look in my mouth if my financial situation has me considering pulling the tooth in opposed to fixing it!? They wanted to charge me 700.00 alone just for the anaesthesia! plus another 500.00 plus for the root canal an crown itself. I explained to them im a disabled gentleman an cannot afford such cost,and would seek options at my primary dentist. A week later i get a bill in the mail for 150.00 for a so called consultation price! Not xrays but consultation. I checked prior to coming if they accepted my insurance an was told yes! After refusing to pay a woman(Marleen) rudely told me i agreed to be billed for this fee at the visit. I exclaimed i certainly did not an would have left your establishment if told so because i cannot afford such cost,nor did i verbally agree or legally sign anything binding agreeing to any such consultation fee!!! You will not take advantage of financially disadvantaged people by charging them frivolous ,made up unsubstantiated fees. I had a great experience for this root canal! I have had previous problems with not numbing completely and not enough room in my mouth to get the job done. I was very anxious walking in the office. I immediately felt comfortable when the assistant started talking to me. When the doctor joined in, they made me feel heard and gave me options to get it done. They showed me all pricing ahead of time so I could make an informed decision. They struggled to get the clamp on at first, but were successful. My experience at Root 66 was very pleasant considering I had to get a root canal... Front desk was super friendly and I was seen very quickly. Dental assistants were all very professional and friendly. Dr. Halpern explained everything to me clearly and made me feel very comfortable. The procedure was a lot faster than I expected. This being my first root canal, I was worried that it would take long and be painful during and after. I never felt any pain during or after the procedure! I was straight up shook. I was able to eat normally after the numbness went away. Procedure itself only took an hour. Dr. Halpern and his assistant worked harmoniously together and never missed a beat. Procedure rescheduled after x rays. I was referred by my dentist for a root canal, made my appointment. I got there on time, they did x rays and the Dr confirmed that I needed a root canal. Minutes later an assistant comes in with the info about my insurance coverage and tells me that I have to reschedule my appointment because the Dr doesn't have time to do it now. The Dr. was great and treated my son wonderful. Most of the staff was fantastic, HOWEVER... Gabby was not. Because of her attitude and how unprofessional and rude she was she made this experience awful. We ended up having to go back and fourth several times and wasted a lot of time due to an over site on the referral/paperwork. It is really sad that you can have a great dentist and almost perfect staff and it just takes one person in the front office to ruin everything!!! read more

I needed a root canal and was extremely nervous based on a past experience at a different place years before. My dentist referred me to Root 66 and said he's "seen miracles come out of that place." So I nervously made an appointment and when the day arrived I took my husband with me for moral support. Dr. Halpern took such amazing care of me! All of my fears disappeared within the first few minutes. You are not just teeth, he really takes the time to look you in the eye, answer your questions and put you at ease. The whole procedure only took about 30-40 minutes and when he was done, I literally said "That's it? I kept mentally bracing myself for the hard part which never came." He laughed, but I was totally serious. Even more amazing was the fact that the next day I had NO pain. What?! Now I like my dentist can say "I have seen miracles come out of that place!" After going to 4 different endodontist just to tell me they couldn't help her because of her age, root66 were happy to help her. I had the worse experience of my life at this business. Find another DDS, please. I would hate for you to have a similar experience. I'm a 46 year old professional. I was in severe pain. My dentist referred me to this place. The DDS wasn't quite sure of where the pain was coming from. He decided it was a particular tooth and did a root canal. I went home, and I was in worse pain then before. The worse pain in my life. I tried to get in right away but I had to wait about a week. Missing more work time. Long story short, He did another root canal, again not quite sure of which tooth. I am still having problems. I'm looking for another DDS and Enododonics. On the bright side, the staff is bilingual and very good. The office is very nice. But the DDS is young timid and inexperienced. I'm sorry I ever went there. read more

Had a root canal done at this place they had me pay $300 and told me I would receive it back once they receive payment from my insurance company. my insurance company paid them and I had to try to reach out to them four times in order to try to get a hold of somebody to talk to you about receiving my $300 back. when I got the person on the phone she told me I was wrong that my insurance company did not pay the $300 without even looking at my account, I had already contacted my insurance company and they had paid them in full. She finally went and looked at my account and did see my insurance did pay them in full after telling me I was wrong and now I was right. She was rude with me and even told me she Had tried to call me back all lies all lies. Don't give them any money up front have them bill you afterwards. Other than dealing with this rude lady on the phone I was pleased with the services I did revive. But I will not recommend this place. I am so thankful for the staff of Root 66. Dr. Shbeeb, Sandra, Lizette and Valerie were all helpful. I am terrified of root canals because of all the shots I need to be numbed. The place was nice looking inside.The office ladies were nice.The doctor however failed to give me a percription for antibiotics.After looking at my ex rays he said as soon as you get your tooth pulled you'll feel much better.I did have alot of pain so I went to my regular dentist a few days later and had another x ray.I had a very bad infection which could have been very serious.I don't think I'm coming back. read more
