Good location to get to the Meadowbrook or Southern State Parkways. Just down the road from Hempstead Lake State Park.

Place is bright, light and ample space to navigate through restaurant. Bread was warm and butter was provided. Pricing is very competitive to other local pizzerias. Such a Disappointing Experience at this establishment. I understand that not every place is child-friendly, but this is a pizza place! We are excited to introduce our kids to a variety of cuisines from a young age, and we thought pizza would be a good choice. They aren't chicken fingers and fries kinda kids . The food was decent; I wouldn't go as far as to say it was the best pizza I've ever had. However, the meal was overshadowed by the hostess's attitude. Throughout our visit, she kept glaring at us every time one of the kids made even the slightest noise. It felt incredibly unwelcoming. To make matters worse, they do not provide high chairs. When we mentioned that we'd still like to stay despite that, since our one-year-old can sit in a regular chair, it felt like a battle just to get one. It was clear that the hostess was eager for us to leave. Our meal felt rushed, as if we were being timed on how quickly we could eat. Her continual glares were uncomfortable, especially since we were seated right next to the hostess stand. It's unfortunate how much a bad hostess can negatively impact a dining experience. I genuinely hope the management realizes this and considers better training for their staff. Overall, this experience made it clear to me that I won't be returning. They really need to work on creating a welcoming environment for families. Especially because of the town they are located in.

But once I did... oh my God, the sandwich was actually really good. It wasn't the most flavorful sandwich I've ever had, but it was definitely filling and easily covered my protein needs for the day. The restaurant itself is very tidy and neat. The vibe is interesting. It feels like a pizzeria, but at the same time it has a bit of an Olive Garden-style atmosphere. It gives off the impression of being a small, family-run place, which I personally liked. Service was prompt and pleasant, and the waitstaff were very nice and welcoming. Overall it was a solid experience and a nice spot if you're looking for a satisfying meal in a clean, friendly environment.

When you walk inside, there's a pizzeria section up front and then a separate dining area in the back where you can sit down and be served. It feels more like a restaurant in that section, with waiters assisting the tables. The service was definitely a highlight of the visit. The staff were all great, and we were helped by Joey, who was very nice and very accommodating throughout the meal. The first thing brought to the table was the bread, which was similar to garlic bread. It had a good amount of garlic and salt and was honestly one of the most flavorful things we had that night. For our meals, I ordered the Caesar salad and the vodka slider, which is basically a large garlic knot filled with vodka sauce, Mike's Hot Honey chicken, and mozzarella cheese. My daughter ordered the kids' baked ziti, and my man ordered the grilled chicken hero with balsamic vinegar and peppers. While everything was good, the overall flavor was a bit more subtle than expected. The vodka slider sounded amazing on paper and looked great online, but it didn't quite have the "wow" factor I was expecting. It was good, just not very heavily seasoned. My daughter enjoyed the baked ziti because it had a lot of cheese, but it also could have used a little more salt. The chicken hero with balsamic and peppers was decent as well solid, but nothing that really stood out flavor-wise. Overall, I wouldn't say I wouldn't go back. I'd probably try a few other items on the menu next time. I think my expectations were just a little high from seeing all the Instagram posts, so I was expecting a bit more flavor than what we received.

We were seated at a table and took a while to be met by a server. Restaurant had a very traditional Italian restaurant vibe, which was executed well. Took a while for someone to come take our drink order, and we were given bread. Seemed like there was only 1 or 2 servers covering the whole place, so that could have been why it took a bit. Dinner orders were taken, and honestly came out very quickly. I had gotten a brick oven pizza, that was actually very tasty. We opted for some dessert as well, and ended up getting the three ice cream options they had. No picture because our kids devoured them. A cozy little Italian spot close to home. Reminds me of the local place that people come to celebrate life events. Would return for sure

The wood fired oven gives a nice char to the crust and creates nice "bubble trouble" as Portnoy affectionately calls them. If there was a little more sauce and more generous helping of sausage, this pizza would be even better. As it was, we still really enjoyed it. The salad was good too. Lots of dressing but not soggy. Dressing was interestingly slightly sweet but still pleasant. Overall a very enjoyable meal! Next time, will try to eat in.
