My mother purchased the Laredo Springs Dual Power Reclining Sofa and matching Console Loveseat (Store #1610, Dunn, NC) The power motor on one of these pieces has stopped working, despite the set having seen less than 4 months of actual use. Shortly after pickup, my mother was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in December 2025. Between her illness and then settling her estate, this furniture sat entirely untouched. We only discovered the failure recently, while preparing her home for sale. I called customer care and spoke with Carlos, who identified himself as a Supervisor in Customer Service. He was fairly callous and told me there was nothing he could do and that it was out of his control since I didn't pay for the extended warranty. His one offer was that I could purchase a replacement motor myself for $88, and separately arrange and pay for someone to install it. I then contacted the Customer care team via their email, customerservice@roomstogo.com and received this fantastic response, "Thank you for reaching out. We are sincerely sorry for any frustration experienced. Please know, that we provide a one year warranty for any manufacturing defects. This warranty ended on 5/09/2026 so this order is outside of that warranty. We offer the opportunity to purchase an extended service contract prior to delivery; however, we see no extended warranty was purchased. While we are still willing to look into a paid part order for your piece, we do not offer any options outside of warranty. We have attached a copy of this warranty for your review. Please let us know if you'd like to look into the paid part order." For a sofa and loveseat that together cost nearly $3,000 and were barely used, I don't think that's a reasonable resolution, and I was honestly shocked that this is how a company treats someone who has been a customer for years. Meh. I've purchased from the one in Raleigh. Both have high-pressure sales tactics, they will accost you as soon as you walk in the door as a ton of sales reps are just waiting like predators on the Savannah hiding in the grass, ready to strike unsuspecting prey. This place is bigger than Raleigh so if there's something you want to see in store I'd come here. I can tell you from experience that there is no after sales customer service. Prices are on the cheaper side of furniture places and the quality matches that price. Do yourself a favor and get the 3 year protection plans and then just replace everything about 32 months in when it's coming apart. The other thing this location has is a clearance area. Some of the items in there were really low and some were not any better than full price items on the main floor. Everything sold here is as-is and no returns. Watch out for the scratch and dent items and inspect everything closely before buying. read more

Went here with my parents on Saturday February 8th 2025. We were in the area on our way to South Carolina, and this trip to South Carolina, we started to look at furniture to purchase for the new house. So We figured, why not get ideas on the way down there, since it is a warehouse. We went inside, was greeted by a greeter who told us the layout of the store, and since we were just looking, didn't really bother us as much. They have lots of bedroom sets, couches, dining room sets, and even a clearance section. We didn't purchase anything, but glad we got ideas, and looked around the store. We recently purchased some furniture from rooms to go last week September 4th. We worked with Tabitha Boyd. When we placed the order she told us that we had a set delivery time/date for September 13th which is what we wanted and would work with our schedule. My husband got a email yesterday saying that they moved our delivery date to Friday September 12th. I called rooms to go and told them we had a set date on the furniture being delivered on September 13th. The lady I spoke to said that she doesn't know why the date changed and that we have to wait until September 17th now which is ridiculous since we were told we had a set appointment for September 13th for delivery. We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine: Parking: 5 Location: 1 Decor/ambiance: 5 Customer Service: 5+ This place is MASSIVE! I mean... we spent at least 2 hours looking over pieces in the main show room. The clearance center is just as big so be sure to come with time to spare. There is alot to see and even more pieces to fall in love with at a great price in the clearance center. The facility is broken into two parts - the clearance zone and showroom floor. The showroom features all of the current inventory pieces and has the pricing you will find online and in stores around the country. The clearance center features pieces that are marked down for various reasons. Mainly because they have endured some type of damage. Kristin was our sale lady who helped us in the showroom. She was phenomenal! Super patient and just all around great to work with. We didn't end up purchasing as the family members with us grew hungry and weary! This spot is located in Benson off of highway 95 so its a nice drive from the RDU area! read more

I want to give this store five stars because of the quality of the furniture, incredible warrant coverages, and great costumer service inside of the store. BUT when I was picking up my furniture from the loading dock, the costumer service was horrendous from the employee that was helping me. I was in there over a month ago buying patio furniture, when I drove my pick up truck around the side to load everything up that I had just purchased. I bought a couch, fire pit, two individual matching chairs, and all of the cushions and pillows needed for the seating. When I was inside of the showroom, I asked about the logistics of loading up my truck. The man that was helping me gave me very explicit instructions and told me that once I had pulled around that warehouse employees would load my truck up for me. I was relieved to hear that because I had a 3 year old and 4 month old with me by myself. But after following his directions step by step, I talked to the woman behind my car that was in charge of that loading stall. At that point I asked her who would be helping her to move all of the furniture to my truck, she said very rudely, "YOU." I told her that inside they told me that that would not be the case. I have two young ones in the car and was definitely not dressed for moving anything with my high heeled boots on. If I had know that I would have brought someone with me to come back later or had dropped off my little ones so that they could be supervised. The entire time she was being rude and then after putting half of the furniture in there, we realize that not all of the furniture was going to fit. She then told me that that wasn't her problem and she can't hold the furniture there. She then proceeds to literally, no exaggeration, throw the individual chairs on top of the secured furniture and told me that I need to pull out of the space because she has more work to do. The fact that those chairs were not strapped down or secure was in her words, "not her problem." I ended up having to wait almost two hours for someone to come and help me take the furniture home. I'm still shocked and annoyed about how that employee was talking to me. I'm an extremely friendly and outgoing person, her attitude was sooo unnecessary and uncalled for. So my recommendation is that if you shop here, get your items delivered! Warehouse staff is rude, or at least the middle-aged black woman that was helping me. read more

This place is literally crawling with sales associates... and even though I walked in 2 minutes after they opened, and no one was obviously overwhelmed, they all appeared disgusted with my presence. I had $25,000 to spend and couldn't get anyone to answer questions about my potential purchase. I collected SKU numbers with the intent on getting pricing and availability on the phone once I got home. I called the store and asked for the price of a bed.. and I heard the sales person grunt and put me on hold. She simply never came back. I held on for nearly 30 minutes. The electric recliner sofa was purchased and delivered in fine contention. However, after a couple of months, the extended footrest malfunctioned and did not extend as intended. We filled a request to repair the sofa. We were referred to as "guardian" whoever the fuck they are. They have lied, given us the runaround, and accomplished nothing in over 3 months. This company is a sham. We bought a mattress with bowstring and took it with us. Not even 3 weeks later the mattress broke! We called immediately and the manager James (I think that was his name) told us to come in and pick out a new mattress. We picked out a new mattress and we were told the price of the exchange. We were told it would take a few days to have it credit to our new purchase. We also decide to pick out a dress and 2 night stands. A couple of weeks later I called to find out where our credit was. We were told to give it some time. So our 90 days same as cash expired by 3 days before we got our credit. But the credit was for only $484! When we questioned the manager he told us that we misunderstood him! Bull crap! We knew exactly what he told us! Do not buy from this company! The are crooks!!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced. We ordered an ottoman and we were told would be delivered and LEFT on our front door. We missed the time that they would be here by 5 minutes. We were told 7am-11am. They got here at 6:30am. We have been calling to ask if we could still pick it up somewhere the same day to which we were met with "your ottoman is now not available until June 9th." The other thing I love about this store is that you can shop We're all different types of spaces and sizes. During the winter months they empty out a section of their store. They always have great sales as well as unbelievable financing options. I can see myself shopping at rooms to go long term because of the wide variety of styles. They have modern to contemporary to urban to children's furniture to baby cribs. They have something for the entire family! We furnished our entire house at rooms to go! We have been shopping at the outlet center for years especially when there is a sale.. Curb appeal and building is maintained and great parking. Inside is huge and spacious with a decent variety of furniture, the quality of the furniture is a hit and miss . Be careful when buying on the outlet side, items such as recliners, dining sets, leather furniture, mattresses and certain single chairs. Should be inspected as you are getting items that may be on the show room floor and customers sit on items, inspect your pieces and remember outlet side sales discontinued, damaged, used as well as new items. Recliners can be damaged without allowing them to function as designed, dining sets occasionally have mix matched chairs, that may not have been original chairs sold with set when they were sold at the store. Mattresses (hybrid memory foam or material that releases gas) may be new and unopened but if it's discontinued may have been stored in the warehouse for years and even though you may get a great deal ,once you unpackaged the mattress the gases trapped inside smells pretty bad and it lingers, you may not be able to sleep on it right away due to smell, so don't throw out your old mattress before you allow the new one to be aired out, it could take anywhere from 1 day to 3 wks . (Based on what I have read on google.) I will tell you that the one I purchased (Therapedic , Joffre, king size $1200) is still airing out and if you have allergies definitely be aware of what you are buying. I am using charcoal bags and air purifiers that run constantly, I also had to buy a mattress bag from home Depot to cover it , because the smell overwhelmed the room and I couldn't sleep on it plus it caused my allergies to flare up. I paid 1200 dollars and can't enjoy it. Some leather furniture sold is leather everywhere the body touches but side, back etc may be other material. If you want 100 percent leather make sure you inquire if they have one they can show you. Check the tag or ask what brand or name, you may be able to Google it online. To give you information about material for that particular model /brand. The prices are hit and miss, stay within your budget and remember you are on the outlet ,scratch and dent side. Never be sold or believe everything you are told. If you want it , if it's a great price, in great condition then buy it. The other furniture we purchased was in good condition. Customer service depends on the individual and what mood they are in, I haven't honestly always enjoyed the experience but smile through it . Make sure you check your receipt before you checkout , mattresses are sometimes sold with mattresses cover often this is an option that can cost extra. Buy your furniture somewhere else. These people are deliberately deceptive and completely unwilling to work with their customers. We bought a bedroom set here that looked white to slightly off-white in the store. It even says "WHITE" on the order and "Off-White" on their website. It's yellow. After a much debate on this thing they were completely unwilling to take it back even for store credit. They told me they use specific lighting in their store to "highlight certain aspects of the furniture". That sounds to me like they deceptively use their lighting to make it appear differently than it would in your house. Also, we've ordered several other things from here and 50% of the items have come damaged in one way or another. read more

Been seeing several of these places. Passed by this one several times while traveling on the 95. Big fan of stores that have discounted, or outlet, sections so we decided to check this place out. Some of their prices were actually really good. We were looking for a couch, but ended up getting a bed frame instead. It had no price so we had to ask. It was actually cheaper than what we expected it to be. The only thing I didn't like was that when we went to the loading dock to pick it up, we didn't receive any help loading our merchandise. So if you think you might purchase something and take it home that very day, make sure you bring some help with you. Also bring some cardboard, straps and maybe some moving blankets. read more

LONG BUT TRUTHFUL EXPERIENCE! I visited the Dunn, NC location on July 3, 23. I was greeted by Andre who explained everything to me. I already knew everything I wanted. Andre helped me with my purchase of a queen size bed set. He was fast, knowledgeable and very polite. He has a warm upbeat attitude. He was so good, I went back the next day and waited at least 20mins for him to help me with another purchase. However, in the kids dept, Joyce Bennett is a scammer! I will never purchase a single thing from her. She LIED and charged me for services and items I did not want. She told me my kids bed set came with a free 3-yr warranty and that the adult furniture doesn't. She told me the mattress I ordered came with a free pillow. My total came up to over $2500. She was trying to push me to leave her a positive review right there while with her but I had to have a Gmail account and I don't. when I went to the clearance section to order a piece I found earlier I looked at my receipt to notice she charged me for all the items she said was free. I showed Elgin and he contacted his manager right away to take things off for me. I even had them remove the mattress she tried to sell me saying I could only get 55-month financing if I added the mattress. I ordered one with Elgin instead. After the manager in the clearance section, I didn't get his name but he was very helpful, fixed my purchase, my total was $1500!!! I Have a few more pieces I need to order from the kids dept but it will not be with Joyce Bennett. And if she is the only one who works that dept I will go elsewhere. By the way Elgin is wonderful too! Fast, efficient, even checked the warehouse for an item in a different size for me. I went back the next day and purchased something else with him. A short heavyset woman behind the counter was cursing and chatting with a coworker when I was trying to check out. When I told her it wasn't good for business she said then leave a bad review I'm not concerned with reviews. I've never even experienced worse customer service. Stay away. I discussed purchasing the Beautyrest Select Eminence Queen size since the sale price was $595.00 with the Bunkie board for $69.99. I returned to the store on 6/16/2023 and met Sales Associate Andre Portee (053920)while looking at the Eminence mattress which are on display in the show room. I decided to make the purchase at that time. However, a order change was made for the full foundation for the amount of $250.00. The mattress set was picked-up on 6/20/2023 and I discovered the entire set was full size although I paid and asked for the queen size. A queen size bed frame had already been ordered from Amazon prior to the items being picked up on 6/20/2023. After discovering the issue I called the store and explained the issue about the queen size. I was told the general manager was on site and I would receive a phone call in references to the issue. This is more of a warning than a review. We traveled from New Jersey to Dunn on Black Friday. Purchased 2 bedroom sets for over $11K. We took a later delivery date because they needed time to gather all the items. 4 days before delivery, after confirmation of negotiated delivery date, they changed the date. Basically, they blamed their sales staff for giving wrong date after the date was confirmed by delivery We were forced to cancel delivery because THEY could R2583not deliver, take responsibility for their incompentacy, apologise for "misrepresentation" of delivery capability, and lack of empathy for inconvience and TIME they cost me as a customer Blaming a sales person was the solution the manager offered, which I totally rejected. Businesses should be accountable for their own delivery system, confirmation and lack of ability to represent contracted services I will not buy a garbage can from these people But Hey, that's just my experience. My son's furniture delivery was scheduled for Oct. 2nd, 2020 with clear instructions to call once the delivery truck arrived at Shaw Air Force Base so he could escort them onto base. Needless to say, he was never called and the truck was not given permission to enter the base. When he tried to get the bedroom furniture rescheduled, he was on hold with customer service for over an hour...without ever being able to speak to someone! He was finally able to re-schedule the delivery for November 27th and now his pregnant wife and him have to sleep on the floor for another 55 days! I really want to like this store. I've been to this particular location 3 times in the past 3 years. I see their commercials on tv and I get their ads in the mail. I purchased a furniture set for my living room about 2.5 years ago and now we're in the market for bunk beds and bar stools so we made a trip back. Their selection is great, lots of product and the show room is very clean and well kept. They have several employees available to help you with anything. They had just opened the patio/outdoor furniture area as well. The term outlet is a bit deceiving as the prices are comparable to any furniture store in the area. I even went to check the outlet room and most prices were 30% off due to damaged items, I would've expected a larger discount by looking at the items and the substantial imperfections. Overall I think, if you want to see a large selection its worth the drive, but dont expect to get a killer deal, as they dont have the ability to negotiate on the tag price. read more

I always try to be objective and fair when posting online reviews. My recent experience (Oct-Dec 2020), with Rooms to Go in Dunn, NC was extremely disappointing. This included their new furniture Super Center, used furniture Outlet, and Distribution Warehouse. I read several customer reviews that addressed the same issues I unfortunately encountered, but dismissed them. My mistake! I will never deal with RTG in Dunn again. On Oct 20, I purchased $5,000 in new furniture and then $420 from the Outlet. This included Protection Plans for the furniture and local delivery costs. The salesman was "very helpful" in selecting my furniture. However, he later tried to help me with my initial delivery and later a return issues for broken furniture, but he obviously had little say in the matter. The purchase and credit card approval went quickly, but then I learned that their Customer Care would be "extremely poor". Despite their slogan, "Customer Satisfaction is Our First Concern". After my purchase, half my furniture was scheduled for delivery 29-days. The 2nd half was to be delivered 34-days later due to stock and the same delivery backlog. I told the salesman I could not believe it would take a month to have my furniture delivered locally. I had no other furniture to use. I was specifically told that RTG had issue with late delivery. I also discovered that out-of-stock furniture could take several months to arrive at the store. I should have known to walk away at that point. After purchasing the Outlet furniture, I was given a list of 3rd party movers. RTG deliveries were only for new furniture. I contacted one of the movers and they agreed to deliver my Outlet furniture and to pick-up my new furniture at the same time. My (first) out-of-pocket cost was over $300. My question is, why doesn't RTG use their own 3rd party movers to help with the backlog? Then I encountered a return nightmare for the power recliner that was not working. On Nov 11, the mover I hired delivered most of my furniture and again the power recliner was not working. I tried contacting both the RTG office and Customer Care "several times". When calling RTG, I was placed on hold from 30 to 45 minutes each time, before hanging up. I tried using their Online Chat and gave up after waiting at my computer for over 20 minutes for a response. I tried using their Call-back Request service twice. I never got a call back either time. On Nov 11, I sent an email with all the details and got an email response 23-days later! I was told a replacement recliner was now in stock, but I would personally have to return the broken recliner and pick-up the new one by the following weekend. Otherwise, I would have to wait 3 more weeks for a RTG delivery, until Dec 31. I had to hire a mover to make a round-trip pick-up and drop-off and then re-deliver the replacement recliner, at my second out-of-pocket cost of $240. We arrived at the Warehouse an hour before they opened. Thanks to the wise mover, I realized I would need an Exchange Order Number for the Warehouse, so I called Customer Care. After being on hold for 45 minutes, I was given the Exchange Number for the warehouse. As I set there, I watched a few employees going in and out of the Warehouse, so I went inside 10 minutes early. I was told to wait outside until they opened at 9:00. I would never deal with RTG again. It is not worth the very poor Customer Care service, return delay, delivery issues, aggravation, and out-of-pocket expenses. Sounds like the manager needs to be fired along with the person who writes their slogans! read more

RTG is the biggest joke ever. There customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Don't buy from here. we ordered a table and waited 9 months for it to be delivered. They came to deliver it but said they couldn' t leave it without mattress that was used for credit on table. I was told to do what I wanted to do with mattess after the guy come out and looked at it so I took to dump. well even after we told them we would just pay the difference and don't worry about credit. they still said they couldn't leave table. i also asked why are y'all putting people used mattresses on the truck with other people new furniture with a possibility of bed bugs.
