    Hyderabadi Special Goat Haleem

Order Haleem and Goat Biaryani. Both are good and i liked goat biryani very much as the goat pieces are tender and juicy, cooked very well. If anyone to eat goat biryani they can try in Roohi's. Owner aunt is friendly.

For a restaurant that charges significantly more than other Indian spots in the area, the quality of the food and service simply isn't there: The Food: The Mango Lassi was so incredibly sour it was undrinkable. The "Fish Kebab" was just basic deep-fried fish with a terrible taste. The Kadai Chicken was nowhere near authentic--it tasted like a generic, basic tomato-onion chicken curry. The Paan: To top it off, the server insisted I try the Indian paan. I reluctantly agreed, only to be served a completely dried-out betel leaf that felt like it had been sitting around for two weeks. The Service: The friendliness was nonexistent. The two tall servers working that day were incredibly cold, uninviting, and gave off an intensely hostile vibe as they escaped from prison. I considered really complain about the food, but decided to just pay and move on. Between the overpriced, poorly executed dishes and the lack of basic hospitality, I won't be returning. Stick to the standard chicken kebab if you absolutely must go, but honestly, you're better off finding authentic Indian food elsewhere.

It takes about 30 minutes to get your food and even longer to get a check after the fact. Which is crazy because my table was only one out of 3 other tables in the restaurant. A 20% tip is automatically applied to your bill, and then still asked if you want to tip ON TOP OF THE FACT so pay attention to your bill! Part of me thinks the reason the service isn't as good is because they know they're automatically getting that tip, but another part of me hopes that isn't the case. Not only was the color / presentation top notch, but the taste nicely complimented the meat. In addition to our wraps, we opted for the falafel bites. There are 4 generous pieces with a nice portion of hummus in the middle. The spicy sauce has quite the kick! We enjoyed an authentic Turkish lime iced tea drink. Loved selecting from the imported drinks- gives it a foreign and fun feel. My favorite was the ambiance and Turkish music. The booths are set in chic cages and it feels like you have more privacy. The servers also bring the meal to your table- added plus for a mall food establishment. My only critique is the price. It is reasonable, but I expected a larger portion for the price charged. If it was a buck or two cheaper, I think the size of the wrap would match the cost. Because of this, I'd rank it a 4.5 / 5 stars. Overall, wonderful spot. Highly recommend!

The place was nearly empty, which is…read moreeither a warning sign or a blessing, depending on your outlook and your tolerance for gastrointestinal risk. I ordered from a kiosk. It was quick, efficient, and mercifully free of small talk. A machine that doesn't pretend to care about your day is, in many ways, the most honest companion while still lacking the dismissiveness of the Gen Z stare. My sandwich arrived at the table shortly after, delivered by a human who didn't linger. We understood each other. I had the Pink Sultan. Chicken, mixed greens, red cabbage, pickles, and a sauce the color of a polite sunset. I read that the sauce involves beets, which explains both the color palette and the faint suggestion that I was eating something that once grew in dirt and had ambitions. The sandwich was good. Not life changing, not tragic. The chicken was tender enough, the vegetables crisp, the flavors balanced in a way that suggested someone had made decisions and stuck with them. I drank a bottle of Turkish Uludag soda, which tasted like citrus with a hint of optimism. It whispered, "I'm like Fanta, but regional AND foreign, which of course makes me better." The place itself is clean and modern, with that fast casual confidence that says we take our ingredients seriously but not ourselves. They make a point of using fresh components and well seasoned meats that rotate slowly on a spit, absorbing flavor as time passes, much like the rest of us. Everything I ate was pretty good. That is not faint praise. In a world where many meals are often either regrettable or unforgettable, pretty good is a kind of victory. Four stars. The kiosk asked nothing of me, and the food delivered something in return.

We were told it would take 30-35 minutes, which is fine for cooked to order food. It really wasn't very busy, but the order took 50 minutes. The order was sitting on their counter ready to go, but it appeared they were backed up with making the bread. Once the bread came out, they bagged it up and we were ready to go. They almost forgot to give us the side salad, but they remembered before we left. Now for the food... - The bread that we waited for- was doughy and undercooked. It had burnt pieces stuck to it and they were not shaped as nicely as their usual bread. - The hummus side that we ordered, which was almost $8, was a half filled half pint container (very small amount) of what appeared more like a sauce rather than the thick hummus we are accustomed t. I wouldn't order this again. - The salad was watery...they need to drain the water better - The rice was cold - I think it was sitting out too long - Now for the main event - the meats - we enjoyed the flavor. This saved our dinner, we did enjoy the meats. We called them about the bread and they were apologetic, and told us we can stop by for bread next time we are there. As this is one of my favorite restaurants, I want to give them an opportunity to do better next time! The afghan bread and their rice have alway been my favorite part of their meals! The Samarkand plov came with a generous amount of meat--a mix of beef, lamb, sausage, and two quail eggs. All of the meat was tender and not fatty. If I had to nitpick, I would say there could have been a bit more rice for balance, but at $23 it's hard to complain considering how much meat they give. The restaurant is pretty small but has a warm, inviting ambiance, decorated heavily with traditional Uzbek metalwork and textiles.
