My mother was having issues with a roofer on her home in Houston, and Scott worked with her and got everything taken care of, well done. His team was professional and she was super happy and still is now. For my home in the Austin area, Scott has come out and checked my roof after Hail here in Cedar Park. Both times he said the roof was good. This past time June 2023 it was not. Scott worked with us, helped us through the process. This week, he had his crew out, and he was on the roof and around the perimeter himself. It's a pretty good sized project, but we got high quality, and very good work done. The roof looks excellent, and they did a very, very good job getting the perimeter looking better than when they came, and checking on my neighbors to make sure nothing fell over a fence. Scott grew up in Houston, and did mine and some of my friends roofs in Austin area and San Antonio. A real Texas Roofing company that provides quality work and follow up.

Following a hailstorm and after the insurance company had sent out an inspector and we had obtained one quote, we decided to get another quote. We called Chuck, and after he inspected the roof, he came to us and said that a new roof was not needed. He provided a detailed explanation, showing us many pictures. I called the insurance company and informed them that Chuck with All American Roofing stated we did not need to replace the roof. The insurance company guy said that in all his years, he had never had a contractor say that a roof did not need to be replaced after an inspector had deemed it necessary. The claim was canceled, and money was saved for both us and the insurance company because of Chuck's honesty. We will keep his contact information and refer him to others in the future.

There were flashy presentations on materials and process. The install was decent... starting and ending on time. The workers cleaned up after themselves, and it looked good from the street. Then it rained, and we found a big leak... a stream of water into our attic, through the bathroom, and onto the ceiling of the garage below. Our NIGHTMARE had begun. Their first response was a guy with a chalk gun. In total, SIX attempts to fix the leak, over a YEAR period we UNSUCCESSFUL. They did manage to slow the stream to a drip, but decided that our roof design was really the problem and refused to fix it properly without more money. They denied responsibility for water damage to the house, and even with an ADDITIONAL $3200 for fixing the leak properly, they didn't call back or show up when they said they would. It's the rainy season in Houston, and I had to cut my losses and call them off. Their response to warranty work is horrible. I've lost faith in the company and personally in Robert LaPointe, the owner. I finally realized they did not have the skills to fix the problem after the year of listening to promises and then lots of excuses. It's hard to hold them responsible for rectifying the problem when you realize they really don't have the skills to do it right. Add my story to the rest of the reviews in YELP, and it is clear... stay away from Lapointe Roofing and Construction.

The project started in April of 2022 and has yet to be completed. My husband and I liquidated our honeymoon bank account to pay for the work and only half of it is done. LaPointe has ghosted me since and I'm afraid we are out thousands of dollars. LaPointe was to deep clean our pool tile to make it look "like new." Also to re-grout ALL pool tile. Our hot tub has been leaking in 2 spots and the water puddles in our backyard, which has been a nightmare with mosquitoes. We paid for a new light in the hot tub and never received it. Take a look at the pictures and you will notice how disgusting the tile is, there's no new grout and you can see the leaks. Since we have 2 little kids, the decision to forgo a honeymoon and invest in the pool seemed like a great idea that would benefit the family. Now we are left with a horrible looking pool and I can't help but cry when I take my kids swimming because I'm just thinking about all the money that is gone.
