They worked with us in dealing with the insurance company, took steps to mitigate further damage while our full roof replacement was being prepared, and ultimately replaced our entire roof and installed new six-inch gutters with gutter guards. The finished product looks fantastic. Alex, Corey, Kevin, Tyler, and Matt were all courteous, knowledgeable, and patient in explaining the work and answering our questions. Everyone we encountered took genuine pride in providing the best service and workmanship possible, and it was clear throughout the process that our satisfaction mattered to them. As an example of their dedication, our property has many trees and shrubs surrounding the house, along with mechanical equipment that needed to be protected. The crews carefully built protections around everything, and nothing was damaged. Moreover, Newman brought in two crews and completed the entire roof in a single day; the gutters and gutter guards were installed within hours the following day. When the work was finished, everything was cleaned up and put back in place so thoroughly that, aside from our beautiful new roof and gutters, it was as though the crews had never been there. The team also followed up with walk-arounds and phone calls to ensure that we were completely satisfied with both the process and the final result. We are incredibly grateful for the care Newman Roofing showed our home and our family. We highly recommend them and could not be more pleased with the experience.

But is the company reputable? And do you really want to go with a relatively new company even if is owned by your buddy. He decided, no. Newman is competitive with hundreds of 5 star reviews. He went with Newman. Subsequently we had a hail storm and neighbors were advising us to get our roof checked out. Our roof was 20 years old. I wanted to be honest with the insurance company and not submit a claim unless Tyler from Newman,who came out to give us an estimate, was sure we needed a new roof and we suffered damage beyond normal wear and tear. Plus we had 2 houses. Well one needed a new roof and the other one likely has another couple of years left. As an aside, if you turn in a claim to your insurance company, even if it is denied, you risk higher premiums or cancelation. That is why it is important to have Newman Roofing spend time assessing. In our case, our roof was more wear and tear with minimal hail. Dan and his guys were on time, even early. Weather has consistently been in the mid 90's. I was worried. But Newman keeps them well supplied with hydration. 14 man crew meant lots of vehicles, even a dump truck but they were minimally disruptive to our neighbors. Furniture moved, netting put up to minimize construction mess on house and garden areas. And then they went to work. All I can say is WOW. I am so pleased. When they were finished, the cleaned up all the mess, including using a magnetized thing for nails in driveway, patio and grass. The yard, the patio, the driveway, the porches are SPOTLESS. I highly highly highly recommend Newman Roofing. They did my kid's. They did this roof and in 2 years they will do our other roof. Price is good too.

When you get out to see why the guy behind you is driving a Division 7 work truck and is trying to speed around you as your leaving with your meal after a long day of work. You ask the guy driving and honking the horn is there a problem as your walking up to the truck and he says don't " DON'T DO THIS MAN " as he is raising his automatic pistol. Has the world become that bad where we can't even address someone that has been honking the horn in a drive thru while you're waiting on your food. I am not sure why he even wanted to show me his gun. I have seen them before and I never had to or want to show anyone my pistol because if I do it's going to be used. This is what I call irresponsible gun carry and someone who is acting out because they feel like they can maybe because they have a gun to defend their stupidity. I own a company also and none of my employees need to carry guns and we work in the inner city. I am all for the 2nd amendment but people like this are cowards and should have there privileges revoked. Or maybe his weapon shoved up his ass for being an ass.

Before he started we chatted briefly about what my goals were and why I was interested in the audit. We came up with three goals and went from there. He tested the air quality of my home and did a blower door test. We found some surprising areas that was losing heat and were inefficient. He was helpful in ideas for quick home fixes to making a list of problem areas to focus on. I was pleased with the whole experience. I wouldn't have realized energy audits were a thing until I spoke with a co-worker who recently had one conducted. I am glad I got one done on my home. Reasons I chose Delco: - Owner's "can-do" attitude. Very positive. These are multi-week projects. It's important that I enjoy working with someone on a daily basis for that length of time. - Owner is consistently on-site. - Overall value was substantially higher than others. - Ability to use my own designer (Cary Gerschutz of DeLuca Designs...highly recommend). - Referred by trusted individual. Reasons I recommend Delco now that the project has been completed: - Communication: Owner proactively provides regular updates on project without it being overwhelming. - Proposed budget was in line with final cost. - Attention to detail: Example: Our designer marveled at the final product of the "pebble floor" in our shower. Each stone was placed by hand; it did not look "manufactured". - Any unknowns (you don't know what's behind the wall until you open it) were disclosed up front with worst-case scenarios clearly outlined, with an under-promise-over-deliver mindset. - Very respectful of our home: Stairs and walls were protected prior to starting. Items were carried carefully. Accidents can happen but we were fortunate that we experienced not one bit of collateral damage. - Respectful of our family: They used earbuds instead of a stereo. No yelling or unnecessary noise. Got to know our dog and were happy to close the door each and every time they made a trip from the outside of the house to the inside of the house. Even in communication: If I wanted to talk through some things, he wasn't rushing me. And likewise, if I was busy, he was respectful of that and kept things brief. - Cleaned up every single day. - Any snags were met with a positive attitude. No blaming of others; great accountability. - Vast majority of work done by Delco; very few subcontractors. - Project was completed within the "worst-case scenario" timeframe and, had it not been for subcontractor delays, it would have been done sooner than that. All of Delco's work was done in a timely manner. - Flexible with mid-project adjustments. Conclusion: A project like this is a big financial and time investment. I really enjoyed working with Delco. I've already referred friends to them. The end product was better than expected. Finally, my designer, after the project was completed, told me that, if I used a typical home remodeling company, I would have paid significantly more for a lesser product. Again, stop searching, use Delco. You'll be happy you did.

I was worried that no one would want to do the work because we were not buying new gutters. Also, our house requires a 20 foot ladder. First we called Leaf Filter, they wanted $8k (first they said $12k hahaha) and that was NOT including new gutters. They said all we needed was their gutter guard. We got Brother Gutters off of Yelp. Best company to work with. I have never had a more polite, on time (scheduling great), and fantastic workers. They know what they are doing. The price was approximately $750.

They developed a plan that not only addressed the existing issues, but also caught some wind damage that hadn't yet made itself known to us.
