Insurance that would not cover us due to poor quality workmanship, and leaks. This was a real problem. We contacted John Cotton Roofing and were surprised to be told that he would be out within 2 days to have a look at the property. John was very forthcoming with an honest, and clear explanation of the issues surrounding our roof and a solid run down of the options we had to correct the problems. We came to an agreement with John on what options we were wanting (For us it was a completely new roof including underlay panels). John and his crew were very good with communication, and available when I called to confirm any details. The roof was stripped and rebuilt the very same day. His workers were diligent and respectful, and above all else hard working. Now after the workers had left and my wife and I did the applicable 360 of the house, to admire our new roof we agreed that we would now need to paint our vent pipes to match the high standard of our new roof. This was not in our agreement with John as we were happy to do this ourselves. I planned to do this the next weekend after work. I went to work the next day and when I arrived home I was surprised to see that all of the vents and chimney on the roof had their flashing upgraded and the pipes painted. I contacted John and he informed me that he had been reviewing the photos of the work that his crew had done and just felt that the job was unfinished. He took it upon himself to ensure that the finishing touches that made my roof complete were completed. This is something John Cotton Roofing did without being asked and without cost to me. I gave The Gutter Experts a call for an estimate. An estimator came out timely and surveyed the…read morejob. I had a couple of requests as to placement of downspouts due to a look we were trying to keep uncluttered. That was well received. The estimate was several hundred dollars less than I had gotten from another company that I was familiar with. I checked their reviews which were favorable and awarded them the job. They had a few jobs in front of me and put me on the calendar for a few weeks down the road which was fine. I was planning on having the house painted during this time but other things took priority and when they arrived for the work it wasn't done. I realized I would have to pull the downspouts down when painting time did arrive and I mentioned this to Adam who seemed to be the lead man. He came to the rescue immediately and stated they would do all the work and return when I had done the painting and install the downspouts. I was really impressed by his desire to be customer service friendly. They truly did an expert job as there were a couple of difficulties caused by prior construction errors they pointed out and engineered around them. The job was truly professionally done. When the painting was finished (five months later) I gave them a call. I wondered if they would remember me as I had paid them in full but they in fact did and came out the next morning at 0730 and installed the downspouts. Again having to do some gutter engineering to meet my construction requirements. They went well beyond anything I would have expected. Courteous and professional from the beginning to the end and saving me time and money at their own expense. I really appreciate this bunch. Without hesitation I recommend them. They are THE BEST!!!
