ROB AND HIS CREW TO THE RESCUE! Yes, they answer calls and do a fantastic job. They CARE and they…read moreare proud of what they do. We had a horrific experience with another contractor and Rob carefully and thoughtfully assessed how to correct what had been done. Additionally, they rescued our almost 2 year old terrified German Shepherd when she became trapped under our deck. (The previous contractor was supposed to close up the end, but he had never finished it, like everything else.) It was cold, with temperatures dropping, when I located our girl wedged under the middle of the large deck, she was going into shock, there was no one to help and I was not able to get her to back up. I called Countryman Home Improvements 5 minutes before they closed. The owner, Rob, brought one of his crew who has military dog training experience to help with the extraction. After rapidly assessing the situation, we realized the screws were very difficult to almost impossible to remove quickly and time was of the essence. It was decided that they needed to cut a 2' x 2' hole in the deck between the joists. They were mindful of the fact she was very cold and becoming shocky, plus her head was inches from where they had to cut with a circular saw, so they took extra precautions. The decking was removed and she was helped out of the predicament she had gotten herself into. After a warm bath and a long rest wrapped in a warm blanket she was back to her old energetic self! We cannot even express how GRATEFUL we are for Rob Countryman and his caring, professional crew! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

He provided us with an extremely well detailed quote which contained everything that we had agreed on. Even more importantly he provided me with a start date a few weeks out and the morning he promised to be here his team(led by Eric who was really over the top great) showed up ready to go. It was a very big job which took over two weeks. It was extremely important to me that he would finish when he said he would. Not only did he finish on time, but actually finished a day earlier than promised. With all of that said, the most important thing was that the work Eric did was fantastic, I received everything that he promised and then some. I would highly recommend them for any project big or small. They are true professionals who deliver what they promise

The person is to personable and lacks business professionalism when it comes to home repairs. More experience is needed in this department because people do not want a one to two day job at the max spanning multiple days, as if the job was being deliberately bleeding to get more money out of the customer. The only thing that was delivered out of the project was the reduction of the frame because it was stainless steel and needed to be cut other than that the customer should never have to assist in the job because the handyman did not know how to reinstall what was removed. The persons attention span to the job is very limited, had I not been called to keep him on track the job would still not be complete. The value he requested for the finished work was more than anyone should pay for his services. He never showed on the schedule he said and never updated anyone as to why or where he was, we were constantly having to call him. He charged for a plywood board that he said he had to cut in actuality it looked like he just went with a piece he found that was as close to the size he needed, shorter but he made it work. All parts and materials were provided he only had to cut metal and do the work and still I had to be involved to get the job done. For his in home handyman work I would look elsewhere and he should stick to outside work that requires less structural issues.
