Wanted…read moreit completed as a gift and out of 6 reviews from business this was the only response, so I went with it. The person is to personable and lacks business professionalism when it comes to home repairs. More experience is needed in this department because people do not want a one to two day job at the max spanning multiple days, as if the job was being deliberately bleeding to get more money out of the customer. The only thing that was delivered out of the project was the reduction of the frame because it was stainless steel and needed to be cut other than that the customer should never have to assist in the job because the handyman did not know how to reinstall what was removed. The persons attention span to the job is very limited, had I not been called to keep him on track the job would still not be complete. The value he requested for the finished work was more than anyone should pay for his services. He never showed on the schedule he said and never updated anyone as to why or where he was, we were constantly having to call him. He charged for a plywood board that he said he had to cut in actuality it looked like he just went with a piece he found that was as close to the size he needed, shorter but he made it work. All parts and materials were provided he only had to cut metal and do the work and still I had to be involved to get the job done. For his in home handyman work I would look elsewhere and he should stick to outside work that requires less structural issues.

Pros: Nice demeanor but I'm not sure if he means well…read more Overall, his personality is pleasant when he smiles. I'm sure he's only looking out for himself and he's human. I have nothing against him and forgive him for refusing to enlist me with his insurance company and so I was never covered, consequently. Cons: I did not get disclosure about a) possible tire damages on the lawn to the 1 ton truck. It just sorta pushed over the dirt and it became mountain-like in some areas and grass stopped growing (at least temporarily... we'll see overall). No apology was made on this and his response was that "I'm trying to take advantage". BEWARE: Before the job begins, he should provide a document from his insurance company recognizing you as his client. This is not what he may prefer to do even if he knows to do the right thing. Also, a disclosure on the fact that no debris cleanup would be made on my deck and roof was never discussed. It would have been nice for him to tell me (disclose) the mess to expect after the tree is cut, because my tree hovered over the front of the house. advise that I'd have to hire someone else to clean up the hefty job. No warning about the in between deck slabs either. I would have preferred disclosures to put tarps like painters do over affected areas, and perhaps it should have been a courtesy on his part. A weak apology was made about this.

I bought a house that needed 14 trees down, a couple were over 100 feet tall. I bought this house which had pretty extensive roof damage caused by dead fallen limbs and the roof was going to get replaced within the first week of closing so I needed the trees down prior to the roof being replaced as per the roofer. Jamie was able to get the job done! Not only did she give me the most reasonable estimate in comparison to 4 other quotes, her crew showed up on time, worked hard, were extremely professional, excellent clean up and were all so nice. There were about 5 guys and the job took 2 days. Don't hesitate to hire Crum Tree! Jamie is honest, reliable, knowledgeable and by far the most reasonably priced in the Pocono area!
