That morning, I then received a phone call midmorning from an automated number telling me that my appointment was the next day not the current day. The number it provided was another automated number so I couldn't speak to somebody. One thing to know when dealing with Safelite, is that you cannot get a real person on the phone or on the website. Everything is automated and when you try to speak to a live agent, the phone either hangs up or it redirects you to another automated section. When I called my insurance company to find out why they had switched the appointment, they couldn't reach a real person either. Safelite had changed my appointment without informing me. This was very frustrating, as I had adjusted my work schedule to make sure I was home for the day of the original appointment. When the tech came out, he was very friendly and very efficient. I received a follow up email with the certificate that the windshield have been replaced. However, I can't access it, because it says I have to access my account. I have tried on multiple occasions to get into it, with no success. Again, I cannot reach a live person to figure out how to reach my account nor how to reach the certificate. Finally, since having my windshield replaced, my sensor for my windshield wipers is now not working properly. My wipers will randomly go off, when there is no moisture on the windshield. I don't know that I would necessarily recommend using Safelite.
