"We recently relocated back to Gainesville from the Midwest. While our new home was under construction, several local residents referred us to Ron's Window Coverings - - we're thankful for their referral. We contacted Ron's for plantation shutters throughout our house. Cory & Megan took the time to explore, explain, and demonstrate all of the options available to us. The same day our builder completed installing the drywall in our house, Ron's staff was onsite measuring the window openings, then following up with us to confirm our order. They kept us informed as to the status of the manufacturing process and the shipping of our shutters. Upon receipt of the shipments, Ron's team was out the same day for installation. Ron's Window Covering Services (Megan and Cory) are awesome. From inquiry to installation, their service and attention to detail are great. They are very knowledgeable and they are true experts in their field. Their price points are very reasonable -- out of the 5 companies that I researched, they provided the best price with a better solution that definitely met our needs. Plus, they have an excellent warranty program. The work they've done for us was outstanding. They installed motorized roller shades for our 10ft sliding glass doors. Cory and Terry made sure the install was perfect. They even went out of their way to make sure the switch cover matches with what we have, and they made sure it was placed in the area that we agreed to - and Cory made sure it was aesthetically pleasing. What a pleasure it was working with Cory and Megan during the construction of our new home. Aside from the Plantation Shutters we wanted throughout the house, we also had some questions as to how we should best provide window treatments for a number of large windows in our Sunroom. They quickly came up with an excellent solution, and the ordering process was very straightforward. Delivery was accepted right on time as to their original estimate and installation was performed by two experienced window-covering Craftsmen. The total cost was very reasonable for what we desired. We couldn't be happier with our window coverings. Aside from the excellent service on the front end, they made it clear they support their products should a need ever arise, which provides excellent piece of mind. We were so lucky to find Ron's Windows! Our experience was exceptional from beginning to end with this family owned local company. Setting up consultative and installation appointments was a breeze with Megan. Cory and his crew who consulted with us and installed our window coverings were friendly and very skillful with making recommendations to build upon our decorative style, as well as professional flawless installation. The finished product is outstanding. We have been using our motorized blackout shades in our bedroom for five years without any problems. There is nothing like pushing a button to open/close all your bedroom shades. Throughout the rest of our home we have beautiful shutters which fill our rooms with light when we want, but give us the privacy and light/ heat blocking we need at times.
