Best experience at a Ford service shop I have had...stopped in to Lindquist with my 2013 escape…read morebecause the Sync was acting up (my window switch also happened to be broken) -- I had called Sexton where I bought the car from to see if they could take a look and schedule an appointment for service at a later time and the Sexton service manager was rude. Since I was in Bettendorf, I thought I might as well pull in and see what Lindquist had to say; they were super busy but the technician knew exactly what was wrong (needed an update)...they squeezed me in, ran the update, washed and vacuumed my car and even fixed the broken window button. They were super friendly and helpful and seemed pleased that I was using them for service. I went back a few weeks later because my windshield wiper broke while driving down the road during a snow/rain storm; they were able to fix it and get me back in the road in less than 15 min. I plan to have all of my service done at Lindquist from now on; it is well worth the trip across the bridge. I only wish they would take walk-in oil changes.

Anyhow, I needed to get to Colorado but my insurance adjuster couldn't even look at it for two days (it was Saturday). To make a long story short, I drove up to his shop with parts of my car dragging on the ground and asked for help. He got down on the ground, removed the pieces of my car that were on the ground and then proceeded to fix everything else that was loose. He made due without having the right parts. It was amazing to watch him. He fixed the car enough for me to drive it. He was even kind enough not to charge me. I'm still in shock by his kindness and competence. This happened 8 months ago, and now we are at GMC Buick getting the same thing done. They do NOT do the work they say they will, and will take advantage of anyone they can. They also were "checking" something in the engine and broke a bolt whilst checking, and forced us to pay $1500 to be able to take the car, even though there was not supposed to be any work done. Would not recommend to anyone that doesn't know cars or what is wrong with their car. Do not trust them to do diagnostics or any other repairs on your vehicle.

He was additionally able to get me in promptly and we scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. The appointment occurred at my house which made everything a lot easier too. On the morning of the appointment Rick contacted me to let me know he was on his way and he arrived early. I wasn't home through the entire process as I had to work but he was in constant communication providing updates via text with photos. His quality of work and attention to detail is immaculate. I don't think I've ever had a car detail done with this much precision. The value you get for the time he spends doing the detail is non comparable. My 2007 Lexus while 16 years old, looks like a brand new vehicle inside. Rick also followed up the next day too which shows he goes beyond a quick business deal. I did not choose them to perform the service as they were on the higher end and this was out of pocket. If this was an insurance claim however I'd use them. I still would recommend them nonetheless.
