Anyway, I've decided to have my car serviced (if needed, since I do most of the work myself) here from now on. I have had nothing but great experiences with this particular shop. They put a new tire on a wheel for me at no charge (it was off the vehicle), they broke free a couple of seized lug nuts at no charge, they balanced a wheel for me at no charge because it was a Goodyear tire, and now today, they didn't charge me the full 1.5 hours of labor like they could have. We needed a tow from there to Big Island Toyota in Kona (less than 1 mile away). Our insurance company was going to charge almost $300 for a tow, but Trouble Call Towing quoted us just $89. Not only that, but once we described the problem, they offered other suggestions of how to fix said problem so they would NOT have to come and tow...Which would have meant them losing business and money. The dispatch was SUPER friendly, courteous, and considerate. They sent out a flat bed tow truck within 20 minutes of our call. Russell, the driver, was extremely friendly and had brought jumper cables and tried a bunch of different things before towing us so we could avoid having to pay for such a short tow. Unfortunately, none of those options worked and we did end up having to get our car towed. Russell answered all of our questions, was patient, considerate, and never made us feel stupid for not knowing certain things. Thankfully, we had a second car available for us so we did not need a ride from the tow truck, but he followed us right to Big Island Toyota and spoke directly with them about where to put the car. All in all, we were SO impressed and pleased with our experience with Trouble Call Towing and their employee, Russell. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to all!
