My dad had hired some idiot to convert a small closet to a 1/2 bath on the first floor. That idiot merely plopped a toilet in the space - no sink, no venting. The drain line wasn't even at the proper angle. Ron's bid came in a a reasonable amount even in the midst of the CoVid insanity. If there were any hiccups, they're explained by unreliable staff. He took great pains to protect the house from dust and debris and cleaned every night before leaving. In about two weeks' time, the closet had been bumped out to accommodate a sink; new flooring was down and the entire area had been primed and painted. I found Ron via his website and called him to ask about handyman repair of a bifold door. He claims on his website he can do small and large jobs and, if unsure, to call and speak to him. So I did. Ron answered the phone unprofessionally and rudely just saying "yeah- who is this" I asked if I could ask him about a small job and he could tell me if that's something he could work on or recommend someone. He said "umm uh I don't know if I can do that I'll see I don't know" I explain about the door and he says to text him pictures and he will see. So I did text him photos and I explained the issue again which I am pretty sure is a simple fix but I needed assistance. He doesn't respond so I text again and ask if he can let me know or recommend someone in the area. He writes back "ya buy a new door" which doesn't explain anything or say pricing or provide any ounce of professionalism that he touts on his website. With the overtone of misogyny on the phone and text I would say spend your money elsewhere with an actual professional. read more

Had Ron come out for a quote on a job. He said he'd have the quote in a week to a week and a half. It's now been over 3 weeks and still no quote. Called him yesterday and was told that he'd have it finished up last night and would call me this morning. 5:30 pm, still no call so I called him. Got his voice mail, shocker. Ron and his team were absolutely professional and outstanding through out the entire process from the initial meeting and assessment , job quote to completion and clean up keeping me updated with any concerns as the job progressed . They installed the new roof in two days including removing all existing shingles and were impeccable with ongoing clean up of all job debris.
