I took boat chairs in to be re -done. took them in in October so I would have them for next boating season. Called 8 months later to pick up and found out Ron had not even started on them. Then a weekly call to find out they could not do the cutting of the wood frame. !0 months, plus Ron changed his quote on me. Never will go here again and feel sad for people who do. read more

My Fiancée and I went to this business today to drop off our vehicle for repair. We had a rip in the headliner of our vehicle that was caused by a Glass Repair Business.The repair was arranged through a glass repair shop that caused the damages to our vehicle. We booked the appointment with Victor at Ron's Upholstery over a week in advance and were looking forward to finalizing the repair's to the headliner. The experience from Ron's was awful right from the beginning. My Fiancée went in to drop off the vehicle and was told that they wouldn't be able to get the repair done today as promised even though they booked the work in ahead of time. The receptionist had an attitude that indicated that if you don't like the situation you can take your business elsewhere. We left the vehicle regardless and arranged an agreement to have it completed by Friday as we didn't need it until then. After we left we received a call from the receptionist to tell us that they wouldn't be able to start the work until they received verification from the Glass Repair shop. This was news to us as the Glass Repair shop had originally contacted Ron's about our damage and set the process in motion. We indicated that the information that we had provided to Ron's about the Glass Repair shop was correct. The receptionist was not pleasant about having to call the Glass Shop again and made it clear to us that this an imposition on her time. She called back a few minutes later to tell us that the Glass Shop was not acknowledging that they set up this repair and was not going to cover the costs. Again, I have to point out that the Glass Repair shop contacted Ron's initially. By this time we had lost all confidence in Ron's as a repair option and since we were still in the area we went to retrieve our vehicle. When we arrived the receptionist was angry at us for the situation and actually stated that it was our fault that this situation had occurred. When I countered her outburst with the fact that the Glass Repair shop had contacted them originally she actually stated that she did not write down every person who contacted her for a repair as that was not her job! I was shocked by this level of incompetence and unprofessional behaviour. I am glad that I didn't allow any repairs to be done to my vehicle as I had no faith left in this business after my encounter with them. read more
