Continued lack of response or communication of whether parts had even been ordered to begin with, no receipts and pocketed money. I bought a seriously broken RV and thought the problems were somewhat minor - wrong. The electrical system which is the heart of your home on wheels was completely wired WRONG!! The tech who appeared (on time) seriously scratched his head and called what he found in to Chris and within a half an hour they had figured out just how bad the electrical system was wired and were working on a plan to attack the problem. I know a little bit about autos and electrical problem so my BS meter was high alert. I detected no BS - just a serious effort to define the specifics of the problem and get busy with the solution. job not done yet but my confidence is high that Ronin can GET IT RIGHT!!! read more

Asked them to do an annual checkup of my RV in Sarasota before I move it for the summer and I assumed they would do the basics, oil change, grease slides, top off fluids, etc as part of the annual inspection costs. Instead they came out and charged an excessively high labor rate for two hours of inspection just to make a list of the things they would come back to do (the oil change, grease slides, etc), which would cost me another labor charge in addition to the materials. The cost was over $400+ just labor for this inspection. They are very knowledgeable and friendly, but excessively overpriced. They did fix my toilet (for an additional $200+ labor) which was leaking while I had them here with parts I had purchased previously, which was good, except that they charge a higher labor rate when you have your own parts (now I understand no warranty can be provided when you have your own parts but labor is labor, why would the rate be higher for installing the part if I bought it or they sold it to me?). They charged for 3 hours of total labor for everything but were on personal calls some of the time, definitely not a hard 3 hours of labor to justify the high rate charges. I won't be using them again, but I appreciate all the information they shared with me during the inspection, so they get 3 stars instead of 1. If you use them be careful to make sure they aren't going to charge you twice, once for an inspection and once for the actual work. I knew what I needed, told them ahead of time it was an annual inspection and needed oil change etc. Again, nothing was effectively done except the toilet repair, which I thought of while they were there since I already had the parts. read more

I had major issues with my 5th Wheel. Bedroom slide floor was collapsing and the hydraulics for my leveling system needed a motor and all new lines. It was making my RV tilt to one side! Ronin RV (Chris and Alex) came out a few times to get these major items fixed. They did a AWESOME job. It was not a quick fix and they always came with a pleasant attitude. Even having to crawl under my RV in the Heat!! The cost was better than I expected, he knew I had a budget and came in under that budget!!! I have already had my neighbor call Ronin RV for work he needed. My neighbor is 95 years old and his Air went out. The company he called wasn't showing up, so I called Ronin RV and Chris came out within the hour! I will never call anyone else!!!
