We spent about 3 or so hours playing & exploring. It's really meant for younger ages,probably up until about 10-11. My son is going to be 11 next week & loved it because he loves dinosaurs, digging & science. Not sure i would go out of my way to go back, only because we don't live locally but if we lived in fresno I would consider getting a membership. Fair-trade, super unique, gorgeous items! Huge variety, too! I ended up spending over $200 on cards, a robe, coffee, a candle, ornaments, decals, and a few other treasures! I wanted inside and instantly enjoyed all of the little knickknacks and unique items that were spread throughout the store. I became immediately fascinated with the candles, gifts, and what look like small handmade items. The staff were absolutely wonderful, and the assistant manager was incredibly friendly and kind. This place is definitely worth a quick trip and possibly a place where you'll find some fun little gifts.

I have some special (to me) items that I want to donate but I wanted to see the shop first. Everything was very nice and organized and items were displayed well, and treated respectfully. I could tell the staff takes a lot of pride in their work. As one other reviewer shared, this is also a store that is serving the community. While I was there I observed the staff providing clothing and other items directly to those in need, (via a voucher -so all very well organized). I made a small purchase and the check out team carefully wrapped up my 4 glasses to ensure they made it home safely and I was very touched by their kindness. I hope others will consider shopping here and also donating their treasures to Catholic Charities. I still have quite a few things from my parents home that I have had a hard time letting go of, but after visiting, I feel the items will be appreciated and handled kindly and may help make a difference.

Right now its about to be December...and its frigidly cold! E X P E R I E N C E: I recently joined the competitive Break the Barriers Archery Team. I used to shoot archery when I was able-bodied, yet I had to overcome some life-changing hurdles to relearn my beloved sport of archery after a freak occupational accident that caused severe vision loss. Through the coaching services at Break the Barriers, I was able to enjoy this sport again. Presently, I traverse my world using a guide cane while being supported by adaptive technology, four acute senses, and random gourmanding blunders. Overall, I have enjoyed the camaraderie that I've received from both my challenged athlete and able-bodied teammates. Everyone from the BTB archery program, staff and participants have been very respectful, supportive, and sometimes hilarious. It's nice to feel like I'm a part of something where "disability" divides us apart.

Newer/younger staff is still helpful, their volunteers were also super kind in helping find items. They have a decent supply of items with regular sales and fair prices for often very new products. Save 30-50% on purchases comparable to places like Home Depot, but obviously they won't have everything at Habitat. They do get new stock of items pretty regularly. They used to do bundle deals, I haven't asked recently so not sure if prices/bundles are still negotiable. LOTS of paint and painting supplies, cleaning/sanitizing, some decor, hardware, rugs, furniture, etc. I've come in the past as a student for some scrap items which they kindly gave to me either discounted for super cheap or in a bundle. They accept donations under certain conditions depending on the item(s), unfortunately no store credit is offered for them. Would recommend coming here before your next project to save on HD prices!

The concept he explained to me is the following. Think of it as a gym membership but for art. You pay a monthly fee, come up with what you want to learn and bring your materials. There are great teachers to guide you and certify you at just about anything. They have a glass blowing, clay, woodwork and even a 3D printer. It was impressive that everyone we met there somehow chips in to help with the training of your art production of choice and once you are certified, you are able to use the machines with minimal supervision.
