I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kan and her staff. I've had bad teeth my entire life, and…read moreI hated to smile. The past few years, it had gotten so bad that I was self-conscious in social situations even eating because I didn't want my teeth to show. I'd been so nervous to go to a dentist because I hadn't been in years due to a lack of insurance and the cost, so I was so scared of what they'd need to do and of being made to feel bad for my teeth. None of that happened. Dr. Kan and her staff were so sweet and understanding. Dr. Kan was so careful and managed to save all my teeth. Something I didn't think was possible! She went so far out of her way to make me feel beautiful again and to give me a smile I could be proud to show. I never thought I'd be able to smile again unless I got dentures, but Dr. Kan completely made over my teeth with composite, and she gave me a beautiful smile without charging me a fortune. When she showed me my smile for the first time, I cried and hugged her and the hygienist! Lol I'll never go anywhere else. They have a patient for life in me. I can't thank them enough for giving me my smile back! Thank you, Dr. Kan!! I also edited to add that I've never had to wait more than 2 minutes in the waiting room. They get you in right away, and Dr. Kan has always been in the room and working on my teeth within 10 minutes of me walking in the door. That's really important to me because I have bad anxiety, and waiting in waiting rooms exacerbates it severely, so I'm very appreciative of how quickly they get you in and get to work! I recommend them to everyone I know!

I usually end up with a bad string of doctors before managing to find a good one. I wish I had…read morebetter things to say about the quality of care that I have received under Dr. Kwenda Johnson. I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia and as of late have been having hyperglycemia that goes well above the 200 range. I had asked for a CGM to better monitor the hypoglycemia as it can be fatal if not taken care of properly. I have had no real issues getting my device until my last two appointments with Dr Johnson explaining to her that the GLP1 that I was given was giving me really bad stomach pain and was losing wads of hair therefor I couldn't take it anymore. Dr Johnson began to tell me about how she wishes she could have this medication and that I need to keep taking it and lose weight. When I told her about the hair loss she replied "It's just hair." and told me to just take anti-nausea and vitamins for my hair issue. Today I received a call from the CGM supplier I've been using to get the device needed to keep my blood sugar in check. I was told that my chart notes made me no longer eligible to receive my Dexcom. They went on to say that since Medicare no longer approved the prescription that they would go ahead and remove my information from their system. I had no issues until this sudden change occurred. I worry about the difficulty in managing my blood sugar will bring once my last sensor runs out of time. To think all this started because I refused to take a medication that was being forced on me. 0/5 stars

After a telphone…read moreinterview with staff members I felt the information I had available would justify a simple cleaning. Therefore, a 60 mile trip was taken to have a cleaning only. Upon arrival and some introductions to staff membership the dentist introduced herself. After a discussion of my request for a simple cleaning she proceeded with a short dissertation of how and why she would not allow for a cleaning without one or more x-rays that day. As the discussion continued I found her attitude to become arrogant, pompous and condescending. I offered information of my current x-rays. She would not accept them as current or significant. They would not accept documents I offered as proof of current x-rays. Very unprofessional dentist. She refused to have her staff perform a cleaning. This has never been the case with dentists I have used, for over 40 years, in the greater Sacramento area. It will be my pleasure to inform my acquaintances of the lack of concern for the well being of her patients. I have successfully used another dentist since with everything I asked for. T Mac

It's always a pleasant experience and the staff is amazing. When I first became a patient, Dr. Rojas was able to successfully replace a crown that I had done almost 20 years ago, when my old dentist office said the tooth would need to be removed, due to how much of the original tooth was left. And for the first time in years, my teeth are no longer sensitive to cold temperatures. We have since had our child and he is now a patient. I recommend him to everyone that needs a dentist.
