I had been coming here for years with my boy, my angel Sheya. He eventually passed away from end-stage kidney disease, and we had to say goodbye to him here. The doctors were so respectful and gave us all the time we needed. They even sent us a heartfelt card afterwards, which meant so much. At first, I thought they had only given us a simple paper box for his ashes. About a month later, when I opened it after ordering an urn, I discovered that there was already a beautiful wooden urn inside. That was such a kind and touching gesture, and I want to thank them for it. Sheya was such a sweet cat, and while it was heartbreaking to let him go, I'm truly grateful that it was at this clinic, surrounded by such compassionate care.

In that time there have been emergencies, chronic illnesses, and sibling drama between pets. They helped with it all. They are a wonderful team, and all three doctors provide exceptional care. The vet techs need to be mentioned too, though. They are thoughtful, caring, supportive and the most trustworthy group of people I can imagine caring for my non-human charges. If you are looking for a compassionate and caring team to assist your fur babies, this is the team.

Logically, get a male neutered vs. getting a female spayed will cost less. Correct?…read more Well, any reasonable person would think so. Not this clinic. I spayed my girl cat in 2007, at a vet clinic near Bloorcourt village. A much more invasive procedure comes with the price tag. My tip money for two weeks went to the $250 dollar vet bill for second shots and spaying. This is normal, anaesthesia, cutting in, maneuvering a small feline body to do an ovariohysterectomy = money! I took my baby boy cat to the Davenport Rd Vet Clinic in 2010. I asked for a quote for the neutering, as I realized the prices may be high (considering the first consultation cost $170 unexpected dollars). What was the quote? $500. CRAZY! Do not go here. The care and customer service do not equate to that kind of bill, I don't care how much you love your pet. The prices are probably high due to location. Annex, Forest Hill, Yorkville, in the clinic's backyard. Unfortunately, I am not a doctor making 6 digits. I love my guys, but I found a nicer vet, for a much more reasonable price, in the exact same area.

Myself, my partner and our dog are so grateful for all the staff at this clinic. They have gone above and beyond any expectations you could ever ask for at a vets. I drop my girl, Norie, off there most Fridays to have a medicated bath. Stacy and another vet tech, who's name excapes me at the moment, are always very flexible. It makes me feel so much better leaving Norie with people that are fond of her and her just as equally excited to spend time with. Norie loves her time at DRAH and not only my family but also our friends families think you should try them out! Thanks for everything Davenport Road Animal Hospital, see you next Friday.

They've changed their membership price to $49 which includes 24/7 virtual care which can be extremely useful. However, I was not notified of this change. I was expecting my annual check up to be included and found out it was an additional $129. That's a significant increase and even more so when there was no email to explain the changeover. A little sus to be honest. In this case, I was able to cancel my appointment without penalty. I've paid my annual fee so I'll have access to virtual care. However, I do not plan on renewing nor will I (my dog) be returning as a patient I know Juno prides themselves when it comes to price transparency. Unfortunately, this did not happen with the membership charges. I'll still give them 3 stars for the ease of transferring medical records, the non-judgmental conversations, and the friendly staff.

I got a free tote bag of goodies when I became a member (149/year per pet). Includes a free wellness exam per year and 24/7 support on their app on any health questions. I met with Dr. Garrett and he and our vet tech was extremely friendly and gentle. Ethical, didn't push additional services or products that we didn't need. Made savings suggestions and helped with some challenges I had with feeding two different aged cats I'd highly recommend them!

I have…read morebeen a loyal client for nearly a decade, bringing two of my dogs here and spending tens of thousands of dollars over the years. Despite this long-standing relationship, today they refused to verify a prescription they themselves had issued for my dog's medication because of an outstanding $30 fee-- a charge they imposed simply for writing the prescription. The issue stemmed from their failure to update the card I had provided on file during a prior visit. I also had another medication waiting to be picked up, which could have easily been settled at the same time. Instead, they chose to withhold service and treat a loyal client with disregard and a lack of appreciation.

When I asked the front receptionist for the product they responded with is my pet a patient here? Do I have a prescription for it? And why do I need it? I have purchased the same product from here multiple times and they would gladly provide me with the product. I've noticed that with my prior dealings with this vet they are more concerned with taking my money and not the care of my beloved pets. I would not recommend using this vet there are so many other options in the area with a caring staff that would accommodate your needs.

Two experiences here now…read more First over covid my husky with cancer - would never have let him stay here knowing how filthy it was after my second experience 5 days ago... My pug and his eye issues; walked away feeling talked down to like I wasted their time. Even apologized for it, like I enjoy wasting my own time and money. Also had a 250 dollar credit I found out 5 years later. So bizarre, no one could tell me how or why I wasn't updated. I can take rude Vets, I really don't care -health of my dogs over any doctors ego for sure. But the biggest red flag overall was how dirty it was (I was in 4 rooms total, unfortunately zero over covid-19 and I don't even want to imagine what that was like). My Husky walked out a different dog.

Awful Experience - Unprofessional and Irresponsible Service - Avoid VEC's Ophthalmology Department…read more I had an extremely upsetting experience with VEC Animal Hospital, particularly with Nicole (Ophthalmology receptionist) and Morgan, the HR manager. On Monday, May 5, I urgently requested a refill for my pet's critical eye medication, which had run out three days earlier. Nicole never returned my calls that day despite repeated follow-ups. On Tuesday, I was told the medication was essential and ready for pickup. When I arrived, one medication was incorrect, and the other was labeled "for clinic use only." I was promised a corrected and urgent delivery the next morning at no charge--but nothing arrived. On Wednesday, Nicole admitted she hadn't checked her messages, and only arranged for delivery after I paid. Still, the medication never came. I called again that night and canceled the order, deciding to go through my regular vet. Despite this, the medication was delivered Thursday morning--too late. When I spoke to Nicole, she blamed the courier and refused to take any responsibility. I then spoke with Morgan, the HR manager, who was shockingly rude and dismissive. She didn't apologize for the mistake or Nicole's negligent behavior during an emergency, and instead told me to find another facility to care for my "fluff baby." I'm beyond disappointed by this lack of professionalism and empathy. Mishandling critical medication could have seriously harmed my pet. I'll be filing a formal complaint. I do not recommend VEC's Ophthalmology department to anyone who values timely, responsible care.
