I've always figured they were all about the same…read more- see them every six months after a cleaning (done by rotating hygienists of varying skill) and once in a while get some work done by the dentist, who doesn't remember me from last time. However, Dr. Boynton is amazing. She listens and her responses are thoughtful and detailed. She is personable, and her staff is friendly as well. Office and waiting room are very pleasant. I am a R.N. with Delta Dental Insurance through Fresno State University as I am employed as a nursing instructor and also Medicare Advantage with Liberty Dental as the provider and have 2 plans under that insurance. I came in originally to have a crown put on that fell off. After 4 visits Dr Aguilar said I needed to go to another dentist and provided me with a reference. This is totally absurd and I will never return to this office. My insurance has been eaten up by all these xrays taken and evaluations done that have been charged. I don't get it. The office is beautiful!, and was just recently built. The examination rooms are modern, the staff incredibly friendly, and every procedure explained. I really loved that I didn't have to go from room to room for x-rays, consultation, and exam. The atmosphere was serene, and the staff did a great job making me feel comfortable. I finally received the invoice/receipt yesterday and was charged for x-rays and a cleaning that was not done to my child. I replied to the email asking for a refund and was asked to call. When I spoke to the male at the front desk, he was INCREDIBLY RUDE saying that it is a flat rate and I have to pay that no matter what. I calmly explained that part of the services were not completed, and it was not even offered and I declined. He got very upset asking me what I didn't understand and saying that if I saw a dentist, I owed the money. I asked to speak to the manager- he claimed he was the manager, I asked his name- he refused, I asked to speak to the dentist or the practice owner- he said no and hung up. I immediately called back, spoke to a nicer lady, asked to speak to the dentist or practice owner- after some shuffling in the background, I was transferred back to the previous rude male- he claimed then that he was the practice owner, then I let him know I just talked to him and he said he was the manager. I asked for the practice owner's name and he said he will not give it to me and hung up. Needless to say, we will not be taking any of my kids back.
