    Taco Tuesday!

AMAZING food. Must try their breakfast burrito with everything on it. And of course great tacos! 10/10!

Great food, excellent price point. Good staff and friendly customer service. This can surprisingly get busy even under COVID times. So be patient。 there was an elderly gentleman with a walker heckling the cooks, not wearing his mask properly. Some people, poor cooks.

Since any type of Asian Market is as rare as a Peacock in our Central Valley Area, this place is typical for the area, especially in Santa Maria. While they have many of the basics that are prefaced, they lack the great selection of fresh Veges that tiny Debu's Market has in Pismo Beach. I know that locals will understand how hard it is to get any Asian suppliers in this area, but if you are from the areas near the huge 99 Ranch Markets, you will almost cry. As for service, the owners are typical Filipino's & were friendly to my me & my Asian honey. If you need a huge 50 pound bag of Jasmine rice at around $22 then here you go. They also have the more unusual red brown, & black rice types. Their "exotic" rice is far cheaper than Whole Paycheck Market. They also do stock Purple Yam, which is really hard to find. They are packed with good nutrients. There is little to no selection of ready to eat food, beyond Bananas & drinks. Again you need to head to Debu in Pismo for stuff like Flan or Sweet Potato leaves. They do get four stars from me, since they do provide a much needed service in our area....but alas it is most useful only for locals in Santa Maria.

The staff are incredibly nice and they were very attentive to us when we arrived. We were able to enjoy an outdoor table and the food blew us away! I ordered the Jajangmyeon noodle dish at the register and took a seat. It came with a dish of yellow radish. The Jajangmyeon had julienned cucumber on top. The sauce for this dish is supposed to be thick. Unfortunately, I was served a version that was very thin and oily. The sauce had tiny pieces of diced overcooked pork and a just a small pieces of zucchini. Other than that the rest was slices of blackened onions. The cost was also expensive at $15.95 before tax. This was the most I have ever paid for this dish and the quality was inferior and there wasn't enough veggies in the sauce. Between the pork and zucchini, I estimate it was less than a 1/4 cup. So essentially the dish was mainly noodles in with a sauce filled with onions.

We actually went in to prepare an upscale Charcuterie Board, and ended coming out with so many other things. Take note of their specialty beverage items. Along with plenty of different juices, we purchased several of the Tilden non-alcoholic Cocktails. Each one more delicious than the next. We've also visited to fill up with different lotions and potions. Our bathroom has never been so well stocked with quality items. And just when we thought we'd seen everything, we discovered the Sardine Pate in Spiced Olive Oil, and assorted Albacore Tuna and Smoked Salmon. Really, everytime we go in to The Eddy we discover another delicious treat. They also offer some fun gift boxes as perfect gift ideas, as well as some well crafted pottery.
