Chevy Equinox had an electronic issue, was showing multiple warning lights related to power…read moresteering and transmission. The transmission failed on my way home from Metairie on a Fri afternoon. I chose this business because they answered the phone and were open on Saturday. HUGE mistake! I was told they would call me the next morning. They did not. They did not call ALL DAY Monday. Very unprofessional. I went there on Mon afternoon, my car was in the empty lot next door. They had no idea what was wrong. Kept going out to my car with a handheld code reader while I waited. They decided my battery was bad (a 1.5-year-old battery, Goodyear Diehard still under warranty). They "said" they would bring it to Goodyear to swap it out. I emailed my receipt to them. Two more days went by with NO CONTACT from them. I called Wed afternoon. They could not locate my paperwork but would call me back. THEY DIDN'T. I picked up my car late Wed. One person was still there, but that person had no idea if my car was fixed, and could not find my original battery. There was no record of my car in the computer, and no paperwork could be found. A new battery had been installed without my knowledge. I took my car back and arranged to bring it elsewhere. They called me the next morning to advise that they "ordered a part". I had no idea what part. They did not get my approval to do that. I told them I already arranged to bring my car somewhere else and that I would need my battery back. My car was repaired by a reputable auto shop, after which I picked up my battery from Riverside. I took it to Goodyear for testing. Wasted two hours of my time waiting, and Goodyear found no problem with my battery. Riverside does not know how to run a business or repair cars. There are broken-down cars all over the property. I do not recommend and will never do business with them again. ALSO, they are not registered with the Secretary of State to do business.
