I ordered the lasagna which was fine. Very typical and large, so I took some home. The bruschetta was the same bread they offered with mozzarella, chopped tomatoes, and balsamic on top. Had a great dinner at Roma's! They have a good selection of appetizers, pasta dishes, and alcoholic drinks. The calamari is a must, it came out perfectly fried and tasted fresh. The sweet chili aioli is my favorite dip for the calamari. Every main dish comes with a side salad, or you can substitute soup for $2 extra. The food is well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Their sangria is delicious, perfectly sweet and refreshing. There is a deal for Wine Wednesdays. You get 50% of bottles or 25% off for 5oz and 8oz pours. Decent spot for Italian food--more elevated than Olive Garden. A few dishes were a bit bland, so I added Tabasco and red pepper flakes. Made a 4 o'clock reservation was greeted with a smile and a very cheerful hostess who seated us promptly. Ordered a bottle of Remembrane Ridge wine, (pinot noir) very good and I recommend it. Very polite and very informative waiter (Adam) was on top of his game. The first time we were here we ordered apps and couldn't finish our meal so we opted out. They were incredibly good. We ordered salads that were fresh and crispy. We settled for the trio and it was excellent. The lasagna was perfect. The spaghetti and meatball was a meal in itself. And followed by a very tasty fettuccine alfredo We had a tiramisu for dessert. While we were just finishing our Italian feast we had the pleasure of meeting the chef, Scott who was very nice and friendly. The restaurant manager Megan, was very inviting and a great conversational person with a focus on retaining the dining experience. Glad we returned and we will be back. Friend and I were visiting the area and stopped for dinner on a Saturday. Did not have a reservation but was able to get a table within 10 minutes. We had the chicken parmigiana and Nona's meatballs which were absolutely amazing, sitting on top of whipped ricotta and drizzled with olive oil. Our server Jana really made us feel like we were visiting her home, explained their special and even gave us recommendations for wineries and parks in the area. I visited Roma's for dinner last week and was not disappointed. It seemed busy for a Tuesday, but they were able to seat me right away. My server was polite, helpful and efficient. I started with the bread and seasoned oil, which was so delicious. I also got the garden salad with the creamy balsamic, which was very tasty, as well. The Chicken Marsala was served with herbed and buttered pasta, and it was so tasty. There were tons of mushrooms and plenty of sauce. This place is awesome. We were in Erie from Cleveland and were heading to Applebee's to eat when we spotted this place right next to it. We decided to give it a try. Great food, great service, friendly staff. We have gone back twice since our first visit. It's worth the drive if you are going to Presque Isle State Park. The ambiance is also very good. First time here. Located adjacent to Taco Bell and Applebees with a similar building appearance, I was expecting another fast food type of place. I took my sister and her husband to dinner as a Christmas treat. We arrived 20 minutes early for our reservation, but they informed us that we couldn't be seated until 10 minutes before our reservation time. We looked around and noticed that there were about ten empty tables, and after some discussion, the man finally allowed us to sit down. We felt that this policy was unnecessary, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy. Now, about the food: I found it to be quite expensive. I ordered the shrimp and lobster, but I received two shrimp, which still had their tails and shells on. My brother-in-law ordered the salmon, which wasn't served hot, and the portion of noodles that accompanied it seemed insufficient. To me, it looked like a cheap dish. My sister ordered spaghetti and meatballs, which was served hot and had plenty of sauce. However, the sauce could not compare to Serifini's; Roma's simply doesn't measure up. You need more garlic.... As for our server, he was very polite, but it took too long for him to check on us. We waited an eternity for a water refill. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere, but the restaurant could use some improvements in various areas. PLEASE COME BACK SERIFINI'S!!!! read more

I went for dinner at 4:30 on a Tuesday with my friend. There were only a few tables occupied at that time. We were sat at a high top. Our waitress, Jada, was in training. She did a great job bringing us our drinks and bread with dipping oil. She took our order promptly. Our sides of salad with house dressing and shrimp bisque were brought out. Both were tasty. The soup was nice and hot. Our entrees of shrimp scampi and romano chicken were both hot and delicious. The linguini was done just right. Sauces were flavorful. Proteins were well-cooked. I had read some negative comments on our local FB page posted right around the time they opened. Maybe Roma's has had time to settle in. Whatever the reason, both my friend and I had no complaints and enjoyed our meals. The dessert menu is fairly extensive. We had a hard time deciding. We chose to split the lemon cream cake. It was delicious. By the time we left, around 6:30, the place was completely full. It was quite loud by this time, I think due to the fact that the restaurant is one, big open space. My son and I visited Roma's recently, he had "Erie's Best Lasagna". He said it was fair and that he's had better lasagna we made at home. I had the stuffed pepper soup which is good. The menu is a bit pricey so I didn't want to be too adventurous in ordering. The atmosphere is nice, the music was enjoyable and the service was good. Our server, Mitchell was polite but was pretty"green" as evidenced in our attempts ( more than once) to gain his attention resulting in my husband getting up off the table and speaking to someone else. All this because one in our party had a inedible meal due to the chicken being undercooked. After our meals were delivered I don't know where he went but when the uncooked chicken was needing to be returned he was nowhere to be found. The restaurant is very nice and comfortable. The server was attentive. The wedding soup, all 3 ounces of it, was lovely. My friend and I ordered the lasagna. It was lukewarm. I assume that because it is 6 inches tall that it is hard to reheat. We both agreed it was just okay. When I arrived to pick up my order, the staff at the to-go desk said my order wasn't ready yet and that she would go check on it again.
