We found out from…read moreseveral photographers in the area that the photographer was a novice and new to the scene so there wasn't a great review on her from their perspective. Went on Yelp to find a photographer for family photos last minute and stumbled upon 777 portraits and TJ was very professional from the get go when I called him for available times. Was able to set up a session that same day later on with Stevie (very chill, personable guy) and made our photo session fun and listened to what we wanted in our shots. Photos came out great and Stevie even texted me telling me that they were uploaded and ready to view in 48 hours after our session! Thank you again 777 Potraits and team! Also there was no assistance with poses, so in some photos there is awkward spaces between people in the group. All other photographers we've worked with would've asked people to move over or spread out to remedy. Ours simply pressed the shutter button. We are extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the photos sold to us by Amber-Drew. The quality…read moreof her pictures were average or slightly better than average, but the post-processing is atrocious. Nearly every photo has excessive vignetting (dark edges) that give the pictures a spooky look, not at all appropriate for family beach photos. Furthermore, she poorly superimposed fake sunsets in the background of our photos. The end result was not at all a professional quality set of photos. To make matters worse, after receiving the set of photos 3 weeks later than promised, I contacted Amber-Drew and requested she send us photos without the poor post processing mentioned in the first part of this review. She initially refused to do so, but finally sent a link where the files could be downloaded without her editing. This link, however, was to extremely low resolution versions of the photos that cannot be printed. I've attempted to resolve these issues with Amber-Drew by email and by text, but have received no response. I do not recommend use of this photographer.

She is always ready to go the extra mile to take the perfect shot. For our engagement photos I loved how she showed my husband and I different ways to position our bodies and our legs for certain photos-advice I now carry with me to this day! For the wedding she made the day as easy as possible, breaking down the timeline where we would get all the pictures we wanted, she also carried a list of family members we needed to take photos with which I am so happy she did because we were able to get all the photos we wanted. Even long after the wedding we still keep in touch which is very nice. She also specializes in underwater maternity photos- I have seen a few pictures of that and they are quite beautiful. Overall a great photographer in the Myrtle Beach area!
