We went over my needs and what option would fit best. We conversed several times before my wedding through email AND calls. She was early for or ceremony as she had never been to the location before. She spent time with my husband and I and did exactly what I wanted. I've heard of many brides having to wait months to see the proofs, but I viewed mine in less than 2 weeks. I originally had no issue other than feeling rushed/ uncomfortable during my shoot. The photographer had a very pompous attitude towards me and my friend joining me for grad pictures. I figured making conversation would make it easier to make the shoot go by smoother. For starters I had given a location on campus to meet and I was there ahead of time (4:55) receiving a call at 5 asking where I was despite being at the location I gave. I chalked it up to miscommunication on both of our parts. As the shoot went on I didn't think it was the best experience for me and my friend agreed. My mother emailed her because some of the pictures looked very sloppy but there were a few we were satisfied with. In the email she came across very condescending towards my mom and seemed to have make up a rule that was never stated on the website where does it state that you only get 30 pictures... every photographer I have shot with chargers for the hour with no limit of pictures as long as you are done within the time allotted. At the end of the shoot she asked if I wanted to take pictures anywhere else and I stated yes that I do have a place in mind and would be on the football stadium I asked if it was okay she stated yes so we made our way over there and someone was on the field taking pictures I assumed we would wait for them to be finish so that we could get pictures where they were (center of the field) she said we don't have time for the that. In the email she pointed the blame on me going over time despite her offering to take the extra pictures and also pointing the blame for being late another engagement. If you have poor time management skills that is on you don't offer something if you know you don't have the time to do it. As of right now (1:20pm 05/07/2023) she deleted the link with our access to the photos, what did we pay the $125 since we no longer have access to the ones that we wanted. I strongly recommend anyone who is looking for their senior pictures to be done is to reach out to someone at coastal Carolina that majors or minors in photography a) is cheaper (money wasn't the issue in my case but for those who don't want to pay 125 for the shoot and then pay another 100+for the pictures as if this was an elementary school picture day which we were unaware of) b) they want the exposure and it will be more enjoyable. Very dissatisfied with the photographers approach and her condescending/pompous /childish attitude. If you are paying for services you want to be satisfied/ get your moneys worth and I cannot say that any of those were met. read more

When outreaching to this company to give my feedback, I received, rude and passive aggressive responses. I was disappointed in a few of my son's graduation photo's where is shirt is untucked in the back, which in return made the images look super sloppy. I emailed Apple Butter Photography, asking who the young lady was that took my son's photos. Why no one mentioned to my son prior to taking the picture or while posing for the image, that his shirt was untucked, as most photographers will place their subjects in a pose, look through the lens, get a good view etc. BEFORE taking a picture and have their subjects move, tilt heads etc. She told me pretty much w/out coming right out I am SOL, that my son is a grown man and was not her place! All of the other images when not in his graduation robe, he had his shirt tucked in. I also inquired about the demeanor of the person whom took the photos not knowing who it was and come to find out it is the owner herself! my son felt very rushed and said the photographer made him uncomfortable and he tried to make small talk to change the chemistry. If you do not have anything positive to say about this woman Rosie, she will not address you pleasantly, nor go out of her way to rectify anything. Rosie will write you off like its your problem and that you are in the wrong! I pissed her off when I mentioned that we wish we had the same experience that others have written about in their reviews. She will also over-Exaggerate conversations saying she was threatened to be sued, Which is farthest from the truth. She did not provide me with the services stated in her so called website/PDF. All I asked and wanted was to open up a dialogue for her to maybe offer to retake those particular pictures we were not satisfied with. That is it. Not looking for anything for "free" according to her. I guess in her eyes, her retaking those particular shots would mean that I am getting something for free, but if it where you, wouldn't you want to make it right knowing damn well you messed up and your customer is unhappy and you admit you will do better in the future? As a small business owner myself, you rely heavily on word of mouth. My customers are my livelihood. You should do whatever in reason to try to make the customer happy or come to some type of arrangement. I paid $125 for the session and that does not include the actual purchase of pictures. If I am looking at subpar photo's am I not inclined to provide feedback on what I will be paying for?? She was so upset she removed the link to purchase my sons pictures stating b/c I complained about 6 photos out of 53, which is completely unprofessional and juvenile. I am more than happy to share any/all of my correspondence w/whomever asks, as I am sure she will try to say some bologna about we got extra time or Extra pictures...which mind you she was LATE to the shoot and also states that there is a minimum of the amount of photos taken, which in NOT LISTED in this PDF she continues to refer too.. If you are looking for someone to capture milestone images of your family, I strongly recommend you reconsider looking elsewhere. She took what was an important milestone for my son, and trashed it. It sucks that I had to pay $125 for nothing. So learn from my mistake! read more

When calling to get info photographer was super nice and helpful so I paid in full upfront. After that she turned very short and rude. She was not responsive to emails or messages, was not nice during photography session and made it uncomfortable for those being photographed. Photos were ok, less than the amount of photos I was promised, and personal treatment very poor. My prepaid photos were delivered in email and there was nothing but a link, no personal conversation at all. In other's emails (who did not pay upfront for photos and were seeing their photos for first time) she was super nice and engaging, and link for photos was available for a longer amount of time before deleted. Would not recommend, you can find someone who is way more sincere and authentic in customer service. read more
