Do not use. Tom is awful. We had a simple contractor fraud case. He told us if we pursued a lower…read moreamount then the damages we'd have a very straightforward case. He said we'd be done in 4-6 weeks and it would be 5-8 hours of his time. To work with us he said he'd do the work as a retainer and he would be able to get started right away. Once we sent the retainer we couldn't get him on the phone and we couldn't get an update via email. Finally 6 months later we had a court date for default judgement. The day of court we found out he filed a motion, without our approval, to defer that date so he could go on vacation. 2 months later (over 8 months from starting) we finally had another default judgement date. The day of that court we were offered and accepted a settlement. We then started asking for a final bill. 2 months after the settlement we still haven't received our check from the settlement from his escrow account but we were blindsided by a bill double the hours he told us originally. All this said, over 10 months into a 4-6 week process we can confidently say this was the worst experience I've ever had with a professional. And remember I was defrauded by a contractor....

Lenney not only delayed sending in the deed to the court for 87 days (requirement is within 90 days of the divorce), despite my emailing him that I had called the clerk to make sure it was received, 45 days in, and it had not been. Then, in mid-July, I called the court to make sure it was all processed, since my house was set to close in a few weeks. It turns out they had rejected it on June 29 and sent it back to him, and he had not only not done anything about it, he had not contacted me to let me know. I had to harass him for 2 days to revise it according to their criteria and I personally went to his office to pick up the corrected docs and took it to the clerk myself. He never apologized for his mistakes, just blamed the clerk, saying "they change their requirements every week," which was ludicrous. He did respond to my attempts to get him to fix the docs, I will say that, but it was incredibly stressful for me. Stay away, find someone professional. He is not.

Closing is in Morris Plains. We also requested if the title could come out to the Morris Plains office for closing which was also denied. And then she goes ahead and files a complain against me at NCJAR. I ALSO DISAGREE WITH YOUR RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW HERE BY YOU: 1. I have worked with more than 25+ attorneys and no attorney ever forced my clients like you did to use their title company. 2. If that title company as you are describing is so professionally capable then why they were not able to come to the Morris Plains office for closing? I have worked with tons of title companies and they are all flexible and send their closer as per clients convenient location. 3. RESPA ACT clearly states that buyer's have the right to choose their title company. Can you let us all know the exact law that has given you all attorneys the right to choose BUYER'S TITLE in a real estate transaction and then deny working if the buyer doesn't want to work with your title?????? 4. The Google review I left was exactly about my experience working with you. 5. And lastly in life I have never come across an attorney like you who denied to provide services to a buyer in a real estate transaction when not using her recommended title company who is not even ready to travel for a closing. Thank you! RATHER THAN FILING FRIVOLOUS COMPLAINTS AGAINST REALTORS TO NCJAR AND WASTING EVERYONES TIME invest that time to represent a client instead of denying them your services last minute!!!!! AND AN UPDATE ABOUT THE FRIVOLOUS COMPAINT FILED BY HER EVEN THE GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE has discharged articles 6, 11, 12, 15 as frivolous and articles 2&13 I will update you all once the hearing is completed.

I was charged non stop for communication on things that we've already discussed before. Then towards the end of the divorce, I was handed off to another lawyer which, I was then charged for this lawyer to look over my files and send me her own emails, when I never even agreed to another lawyer. Recently I went to her for help with my ex not following our agreement and parenting time. She could care less and basically just wanted me to hire her again without offering any advice on what I could possibly do. I think she's just money hungry and can care less about truly helping you.

Mario Lomonaco, of Laufer, Dalena, Jensen & Bradley in Morristown, NJ, was by far the most…read moreunethical, aggressive, and deliberately harmful attorney I've faced. He escalated conflict, padded legal bills with excessive and unnecessary communications, and showed no interest in resolution--only financial exploitation. His behavior was not rooted in advocacy, but in weaponizing the legal system to harm. What makes this more painful is that I am a military veteran and a former law enforcement officer--serving in the very town where this law firm is located. I have devoted my life to service, integrity, and protecting others. Years ago, I even assisted this firm during a devastating fire, when they needed help. Despite my sacrifice, they chose to come after me without conscience--motivated only by money and personal gain. It was not just unethical; it was deeply personal and inhumane. Helping push this unethical case were Christina Cilli and her brother, both of whom knew from the start they had no legal standing. Yet they persisted, throwing money at a meritless case out of pride and entitlement. In the end, all their spending got them far less than what they could have had through fairness--and it left their own daughter and son emotionally abandoned and lost in the process. Also involved was Jay Kaplan, a used car salesman from Motion Kia, who lived with Christina during the case and actively supported her toxic behavior. His involvement contributed to the emotional damage inflicted and further destabilized an already broken situation. The most malicious figure was Daryl Cilli of Media, Pennsylvania--owner of NLTD Tennis and former owner of 160/90. He used his wealth like a weapon, purposefully trying to bury me under legal bills. He did so knowing exactly what kind of emotional and financial damage it would cause. His actions were immoral, unethical, and utterly heartless. In the midst of all this, there was only one voice of reason: Sharon Johnson of Johnson & Johnson Law Firm in NJ. Sharon showed the kind of character and strength that the others lacked. She communicated with honesty, showed unwavering compassion, and fought for me with true professionalism, even while we faced a system abused by the other side. She stood by me with integrity when it felt like the world was falling apart. If you want a strong, ethical, and genuinely compassionate attorney, I highly recommend Sharon Johnson. But if you value fairness, decency, or justice--stay far away from Mario Lomonaco and the firm of Laufer, Dalena, Jensen & Bradley. They betrayed not just legal ethics--but basic human decency. This firm is a zero rating.
