Was in the Homestead area and craving pizza. Searched Yelp and saw Romano's had great reviews. Stopped here for lunch and got a 14" cheese pizza. Staff inside is super friendly and greet you as soon as you come in. You place your order and they start making you pizza from scratch. This is a mom & pops spot. Mainly take away order but there a few tables and chairs. Food is good and pizza is good. It's one of the better pies in homestead and it will hit the spot. I might say their pizza sigh is the best in the area. Pizza holds up over night and sauce is decent. I keep coming back because food is enjoyable for homestead. I recently moved to the area and brought my daughter here after picking her up from school because I saw the reviews were good. Let me just say... Best pizza I've had in a while. There's not a lot of good places to eat here in Homestead, but this place has authentic and fresh pizza with good ingredients that isn't full of grease, it was sooooooo good. I got bacon and pineapple on mine and almost ate the entire thing, really good quality food. The man at the counter was super helpful and friendly, you can tell it's family owned by all the pictures on the wall and I love that. Food is amazing but poor customer service. The owner got mad because I cancelled an order due to a death in the family. Told me I wasted food and he doesn't care that happened, told me to pay for the cancelled order or else I'm not taking orders from you. What kind of bull crap is that! My grandmother passed and that's the first thing you tell me??? That lets me know you're a small town establishment that doesn't know anything about business. Never had important And major sales. You can improve by closing your business! You use to be the best but then you sold your soul to door dash, food shows up cold with drivers who don't speak english, you don't answer your phone despite several attempts, your wings are no better than a fast food chain like dominos or pap johns, you force us to use door dash who wont help us with nothing better than a 6 dollar credit after I jus paid over $50 for one pizza and wings.....you should be ashamed of yourself and retire!!!!!!! read more

My pizza was $23. Pricey but not bad and comparable to other places. So I ordered it on the phone. As I ordered I asked for mushrooms and onions to be added. I figured that's extra, that's fine it'll be a couple bucks as most places charge a dollar, maybe 2 bucks per topping. Or in a crazy world 2.50 per topping. Eh ok no problem.... Except, this place charged me an extra almost $10 for TWO toppings!!!! What a joke!!!! The worst part is, if you're going to screw a person for a quarter of an onion and a can of olives at least tell them! Say "hey toppings are extra! Like half the price of your entire pizza extra" at least then people know what they're getting into instead of ordering a $23 pizza and picking it up and paying $35. Person taking orders is a straight disrespectful,worse service I've have gotten from a pizza place.

I called ahead yesterday (9/1/23) and ordered 2 pizzas for my family. One was a large 2 topping pizza, the second an XXL 1 topping pizza. I called at 6:25pm on a Friday. They said our order would be ready in 25 min. We showed up at 7:00pm, thinking traffic would give us cold pizza, but no. Instead, when I went in to get our order, they said it would "be another 15-20 min". I stood there and watched them then make BOTH our pizzas. Remember, we called in an order! They completely forgot about us. I watched them make our order, put it in the oven, and then after another 30 min finally get it, the guy asked me if I was ready to pay. Assuming there would be some acceptance of his wrongness and possible discount as an apology, wrong again. Nearly 60 dollars still for 2 pizzas I waited over an hour for. This place isn't "family oriented" or "neighborhood", it's just some lazy dude who doesn't care about his customers. Besides that, the pizza is actually good. It's a shame I will NEVER go back. F* you and you asking for a tip when I pay, when you clearly ignored or forgot about me. read more

We were lucky to get them on the phone normally takes a bunch of calls for them to pick up and sometimes they don't even pick up but this is the third and final time I visit this business and have a horrible experience my girlfriend called 30 minutes ahead of time to order a medium cheese pizza when I get to the location to pick it up they told me it would take 20 to 30 minutes more I'm not going to sit there and wait a whole hour for a pizza when there's definitely many other options that I can choose the pizza and the food is amazing I cannot complain about that read more

I ordered the ITO's supreme and it was so good and probably the best pizza that I have had and I will. Today I ordered the same pizza and it was just as good as the first time. This pizza is definitely better than the commercial style pizza restaurants, but that is my best pizza. I tried the chicken wings and the garlic bread along with the ITO's pizza and it was so good and I will not go back to the commercial pizza. Horrible customer service! The sign outside says call to place order so we did 5 times and no answer. We told the owner and he said to hold on. So after 20 minutes of still watching people retrieve their food we said to the owner are you going to take our order he just looked over us and continued to help other customers. We left and I proceeded to call the store again in which he picked up immediately. I proceeded to tell him that I also own my own business in which I would never treat my customers the way you did.
