We got a sampler platter that included some croquetas, plantain chips, tamal, fried pork chunks, and fried shrimp. Zero complaints about anything! So so good. My main was the Sopa de Res, which was a hearty soup. The serving size was gigantic. I actually took most of it back with me and it made two more meals. There were lots of root vegetables, slow cooked beef still on the bone, a side of rice and corn. My dad got a huge Cuban sandwich that he also ate on for days and my mom had empanadas, which I finished off for a third meal. We also went back for pie. That was ok - it was extremely rich and kind of pricy at $13 a slice. I also tried their Cortadito and took it to go. Great coffee as well. Highly, highly recommend eating here. The decor is fun and the wait staff super nice and patient with all our questions. They also have a separate ice cream shop across the parking lot.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the smell of smoked meat, and you know you're in for something special. It's a quaint little place with community-style picnic table seating indoors, and you can tell it gets busy during peak hours. The staff treated us like family from the moment we walked in and made us feel right at home. I ordered the baby back ribs and brisket, and both were outstanding. The collard greens were hands down the best I've ever had, and the sweet potato soufflé was just as memorable. Even the Texas toast was incredible--I don't usually talk about bread, but this stuff was fire! The drinks were served in large cups, and the sweet tea was absolutely perfect. Dinner for two came to about $78, which might seem a little high at first, but quality barbecue isn't cheap, and every dollar was worth it. The portions were generous, everything was fresh, and this was easily one of the best barbecue meals I've had. We were so full we almost skipped dessert, but I'm glad we didn't. The homemade Key lime pie was the best we had during our entire trip to the Keys. It was smooth, creamy, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of Key lime flavor, and unlike some of the others we tried, it wasn't gritty at all. It was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in South Florida.

Every table she assisted she referred to our table as being the problem where the tables would then be staring at us and our kids the whole time. Every ask was met with a forced smile, and rolling of the eyes as she walked away. She then went to the system to enter the orders and was pointing at us - She clearly was annoyed of having to serve a large group like ours and made the experience terrible despite the food. I understand it's inconvenient when a high number table arrives but there was still a level of service and respect that should have been present. We will never go back.

Well rounded combo that includes Texas toast and coleslaw as well as the 4 chicken tenders with cane sauce and a fountain drink. I highly recommend getting an extra sauce or two because one sauce is definitely not enough. Only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because it seems shrinkflation strikes again as I noticed all my tenders were smaller than usual and the price keeps going on. I've been seeing this more and more as I go to local chains. Other than that the food is fantastic and they served it up quick before I was even able to get my fountain drink. I'll be back again... hopefully I get bigger tenders like I used to!

Ladling the bone broth over each bite of mofongo created very comforting mouthfuls. I would've preferred pork belly instead of chicken, but we already had it as an appetizer so I opted for chicken habanero. I feel the breading on the chicken was a little too filling for this dish and the pork would've added some needed sweetness. Overall a substantial meal with exotic flavors. I appreciate the changing menu, and look forward to seeing what's next! Comparing older photos of the menu, there's no longer a time restriction for burgers and sandwiches (all available after 3 PM).
