This review is actually for the restaurant Carlota y Emily which is part of the Roma Quince concept establishment. The court yard and the outdoor spaces were charming - perfect setting to take advantage of CDMX's mild weather. The only drawback was the smoking. The indoor dining rooms were just as charming. The food was excellent - modern & traditional Mexican with locally sourced ingredients and some European dishes. I had two kinds of ceviche - both with super fresh seafood, perfect mushroom soup, a charcuterie board with a glass of white wine and a bottle of mineral water. This was my one indulgent meal in CDMX. Total came out to about 875 pesos with 15% tip included. The place was relatively quiet as it was a late supper - around 3. Many people, including myself, took a leisurely time dining and the staff didn't seem to mind. As to the shops, I've been to other places in Europe with a similar concept (each room housed products from different vendors). It's an awkward experience - since the space is small, you're in close contact with the sales person and made it difficult to linger to really get a feel for the merchandise. Review for the shop, not the restaurant. I liked that each little room has different kinds of foods from a different vendor. I was laser-focused on finding some modern, minimalist home goods and there was a room/boutique that fit the bill perfectly. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Delicious eggs Benedict. Husband said it was the best he ever had. I had the chilaquiles verdes and they were delicious as well. Top it off with a Concha AND coffee and you are set for the day. It's very charming rustic with elegance. The service was excellent. read more

Beautifully curated and extremely high end store in a beautiful neighborhood. The owner was very friendly and explained the layout and concept. They were under construction so not all items were on display. You'll pay NYC prices here, but will find designers you won't see again. read more

I like the concept, of different brands under one roof, but the staff is clueless. They mostly just stand around and aren't helpful. I asked repeatedly to see some jewellery in a locked case and was either brushed off or ignored until a woman finally admitted that they couldn't find the key for the case. Fail. read more
