Would've gave them 3 stars if this was actually good.

Way overpriced, they don't let you use any credit cards or debit, the store is pretty cramped, and worst of all their sandwiches are not as good as a lot of other breakfast spots. Just disappointed overall, can't justify coming back.

New to the neighborhood and craving a sandwich while going for a walk . Best hospitality and Italian Sandwich. The owner is very welcoming and put a lot of LOVE into our sandwich .

Jesse and his brother always greet you like family. My son adores Jesse. Food always fresh and yummy. Larger location but always lime home.

There are "happy meals" and then there are meals that leave you happy. Jesse and his brother depending on who is covering the store, mostly Jesse, greet you with sincere friendliness. The sandwiches are always fresh and made to order. You may come in as a customer but you will leave as family. We are regulars but our son absolutely adores Jesse. I mean how many deli owners do you know that your son wants to have the owner put on his school safety contact? jesse's new location is huge and very clean. You won't be disappointed.

I stopped by Steve's Deli after work cause I was crazing a good chop cheese. I saw one review where…read morethey stated they had a good one at this deli. There are no options by where I work and this was not too far away from fresh meadows where I live. I must say 5 out of 5. It was perfectly made and bread was lightly toasted and it hit the spot !!! I hope that next time I crave a chop cheese it will be just as good as it was that day.

HTF should I know that the people who work there have no clue what's on the menu. Yeah I chose the weird Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It sounded much better on paper than in reality. It didn't taste like a real Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It had a lot of mushrooms in it but the gravy sauce tasted weird and it barely had any cheese. He also ordered a halal gyro over rice. Not sure which protein... chicken probably... I really didn't care for it. It didn't taste like anything you'd expect from a halal place. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh but the seasoning on the food was non-existent. Where are all the spices! Didn't taste cumin, coriander.. garlic, etc! So bland. No heat whatsoever from the sauces? It tasted more like creamy bbq sauce. Don't serve halal food for the sake of having variety on the menu. The texture of of the rice was a lil odd for me and it wasn't basmati rice. I'm giving it 3 stars cuz it really was just okay, if anything, I'm being a bit generous. I didn't feel like cooking lunch on a Friday but I could've easily made something tastier for less money.

I like their sandwiches, but the bread is where it needs a huge upgrade. My most recent purchase was the Bon Jour, which had delicious thinly sliced ham, brie cheese, artichoke, and dijon mustard. However, for a sandwich named after the French, the bread is not befitting. If they can fix that problem, their rating would easily be 4 stars.

Entering the store, which is a long and a narrow yet fairly sun-lit location, the two employees seem flabbergasted. We placed an order online and I'm not sure if it's because it's the beginning of lunch time but they seemed disorganized. Then we finally got our sandwich and I said we'll eat right at the few spots by the window. Incredibly convenient. Asked if they could cut it in half since we wanted to try it fresh on the spot. One guy was friendly, the other was lukewarm. I had to explain, it's our first time ordering so will understand to clarify instructions in the online order to have it cut in half in the future. Besides the customer interaction, the sandwich is pretty good. Great crunch in the bread, ingredients are just enough (not like Stacked but good enough to fill you up). It's certainly a great option for sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Probably better to order online than in person as they can be busy just making sandwiches and not be able to tend to in-person interactions as quickly.
