My granddaughter broke the zipper on her favorite suitcase that she has had for years. It is very special because it has a picture of her dog who is very old now on it. I told the owner the story. He said he could fix it so that she would be able to use it, but it would have an opening. I didn't care....I told him to go ahead and make the best repair he could. I sent my grandson to pick it up today and he did an amazing job. The zipper closes all the way, does not have an opening. The suitcase is like brand new. My grandson tried to give him a tip because he knew how happy his sister and I would be, but he wouldn't take the money. He will have my business from now on. read more

I would not recommend this business. It was $40 to add a protective rubber sole on my brand new shoes. After 3 days I pick up my shoes and the sole was attached. However, I didn't like the thick coat of black paint that lined the edges. The worst part was that brand new never worn shoes now had scratches and scuffs on the sides. These were not there when I dropped them off for service. I don't understand how those marks could have occurred when all I asked for was to attach a sole. The shoes also had spots of glue that stuck on the leather. This was a very disappointing service, and after cleaning the shoes, there is no way to get those marks off. The leather is permanently damaged. Be warned, you also have to prepay for whatever service you need without knowing how it will turn out. read more

He offered to repair them for $15, and for an additional $5 to reinforce the non-separated side of each boot to ensure they didn't separate going forward. I opted for that. I rarely need shoe repair services, but when I do moving forward, this is where I'll be going! Service was prompt and professional. I took two pair of shoes: suede ankle wedges with the right heel worn off from driving and "leather" (pleather) calf boots. Instead of charging me for something, I was informed my boots were past the point of repair. Although disappointed, I'm grateful my money wasn't taken for something I wouldn't have been happy with in the end. My suede ankle wedges came out great! Am really happy to have found this place. My sport shoes fell apart after a bout in the washing machine using way too hot water, and Alex (owner) did such a good job they look like new. The reviews for this place tell a clear story, but I was still reluctant to put my trust in the business due to a lack of before/after photos. I bought a new pair of leather boots recently that got scratched pretty badly. The owner did a great job fixing my boots and also gave them a nice polish and shine. Reasonable prices IMO.
