Came in on a whim to get my nails ready for the beach. My regular nail salon was booked so I improvise. Went in for a full set of acrylic and pedi, took 2 and 1/2 hours and WAY over priced. That's just the least, gave the tech an example picture and asked for simpler didn't have to be exact. Everything went wrong after that! she glued the tips to my skin, almond shape must be unknown as I got short fat round nails. The absolute WORST it was an embarrassment seeing what she had done. Terrible experience. Sent the wife here for a manicure. They began on her and got about halfway through before stopping briefly to help another customer who had a broken nail. That was perfectly fine and reasonable. What was not reasonable was that this turned into a pedicure for a completely different customer, and a manicure for another customer, taking over an hour until my wife finally could get her nails finished. Once she was finally worth these people's times, the job was butchered with several jagged edges and cracks. Went in on a Friday afternoon. Told half hour. Waited more towards a full hour. Decent nails. Salon was pretty clean, workers were neither friendly nor mean. Missed painting the side and did nothing with my cuticles. No hand massage. Was never told a price until the end, then told $68. Which I thought was pricey. Overpriced. Got there at 10am left at 12:30. The manager was 45minutes late leaving the only worker to try to take on 4 customers by himself. Even though he turned away at least 3 customers he still tried to take care of things with no help and 4 customers inside. Manager strolls in late with unpleasant look on her face as if she hates her job. A year ago when I came here I walked in and the manager was alone sitting in one of the pedicure chairs laughing on the phone. She seen me enter and still sat there and continued to laugh on the phone for a while. I waited a long time for service for her to try to overcharge me despite the prices being listed on the wall back then. I recently called and made an appointment at 3pm they called me asking to come in earlier since they had free time. My friend and I came here to get pedicures and this was the best experience of my life! The man doing our nails was hilarious, kind, and very friendly. The water was the perfect temperature and he made sure it was how we liked it. We had called ahead to and he fit us in within 10 minutes (we were very happy about it). I only have one star because I had to........ my "pedicure" consisted of soaking my feet in hot water. Barely taking the scrubbing stone to my rough skinned feet. Rubbing lotion on my legs and painted my toenails. My full set is hideous looking. Tips glued on crooked. No cuticle cut, nails filed crooked. This place is horrible. I asked for a deluxe pedicure & all I received was a foot soak in cool water, a nail trim & lotion rubbed on my feet. She said that is a pedicure. She was very rude & rushed while doing my feet. She said for them to remove the dead skin & callous, it would cost additional money. She turned away several people that had came in while I was there saying she didn't have time. They close at 6 or 7 & it was only 3pm. I refused to pay them & walked out. TERRIBLE PLACE TO GO! Prices are very expensive for the quality of the service given. Was out of the color that I asked for, and she used a substitute she mixed without asking me. Finished product was not exceptable. Had an appt and still waited and was not efficient with time to complete 3 pedicures, took 2.5 hours because there was not enough staff. Multiple people coming in for walkins, and service was given to some but not others. Never recommending this place to anyone, as this was our second attempt to give them the benefit of the doubt. Yeah.. the reviews from this site made me make a visit. I received a full set with no color ( clear gel ). While arriving a man was smoking outside (turns out he does my nails) he doesn't wash his hands when coming inside.. I brushed it off. He then continued to keep his phone up on the table while doing my nails and touching his phone every so often because he was 'playing a game and he's top 3 in his server' (I don't give a shit, I'm here to get away from my husband, kids and games!!!). He continues to do my nails and tells me 'since I'm a mom' I cannot have longer nails, he also didn't want to risk me coming back later to get them filed down...(ok it's customer service but whatever). After this I got my polish done and he didn't use a primer for the gel and only used ONE coat and still CHARGED me for gel... for ONE CLEAR COAT.. I noticed he ended up not taking the tip of my card receipt and I'm thankful because my nails are all lifting and have crack down the middle on some nails. I have NEVER had a worse nail job. Maybe this place is acceptable for pedicures or someone more trained on nails but my experience was horrible and my nails are worse... unbelievable oh can't find a decent nail salon anymore!! I've heard lovely nails or something is good so I will try to get them to repair these disgusting nails this weekend. read more

My gel manicure chipped in less than a week. Inattentive. Didn't take credit cards. Pedicure thankfully lasted 2 solid weeks with regular polish. OMG. I am absolutely ecstatic right now. I have been looking for someone to do my nails for months and I found this place. I got my nails done today by the most gentle nail tech (Tee) ever in history. She did a wonderful job on my nails and what I loved most is she took her time. She did not rush at all. So if you don't have patience to wait for great service, this is not the place for you. I am a person who is very picky with my nails. She did good with the shaping and made sure she put acrylic on the sides. And she made sure the tips were not pointy and sharp. I have gone to another establishment for quite some time but decided to try Rolla Nail Care again. I made an appointment for my granddaughter and I and we were immediately seen for our pedicures. They were very friendly, clean and on time. My granddaughter was thrilled with her results and I was too. I asked if they would do an overlay on my nails and they are very accommodating. I asked for a 2 o'clock and she told me to come at 2:10. Not a problem because I know she will be ready for me with no waiting. I asked for Pink and Whites. The man doing my nails said that he only did French tips. I repeatedly reminded him that I wanted Pink and Whites, but he continued doing a regular acrylic set. My nails are lifting after only one day because the man didn't clean up my cuticles. Not to mention the fact that I was overcharged for a full set by $10. I saw the great reviews on Yelp, and thought I'd give it a try. They also chased down a woman because they apparently undercharged her. The inside of the establishment appears to be messy. First off--Stephanie, I was the lady sitting next to you. I was drying my 15 minute fast, half a**** pedicure while she did yours. I totally agree. Now I know why the shop called "pink polish" on Pine and Bishop was so full---(they are good and I usually go there). I don't know if you were there when the 2 nicely dressed black women came and asked for fills and pedicures. The same lady worker told them there was "no time today". When the women walked past again, having been to the beauty supply next door, I told the worker there are the women from before and nobody is waiting. She looked at me funny and said"we booked up all day", There is a sign that says "walk ins welcome" and another walk in was taken shortly after she told them. For all viewers reading this. I have never witnessed such blatant racism in my life. I am white and am ashamed of myself for not walking out. Good for you Stephanie for not paying. read more
