This used to be a great roller skating rink back in the day. Always a treat to go on Friday or…read moreSaturday night as a kid and teen. It closed for a long time as the owners were ready to retire and sell the rink. River's Edge, a cult of sorts, has acquired the rink. While they still advertise open skating, do not be fooled! A group of us took our kids there a few times (all skate or play hockey) and are of age to be there without parental supervision according to the rink itself. No sooner than we arrived at the house and we got a call to come pick up our kids as the rink decided to close! Although they refunded the admission paid, it does nothing to compensate for the inconvenience and disappointment of the kids! Further more, they use it for their "services" and have totally allowed the rink to become run down and really unsafe as they allow kids to walk out into the rink while others are skating and have removed the rink side boards. There is dirt and dust everywhere so it makes it even more difficult to skate. The worst thing though, is they allow the kids to run the rink. At first I thought it was just teens helping out and then when returning to pick up my children, I did not see one responsible adult that was supervision the operation. Our kids reported, while no one tried to "save" them or "convert" them, they did play music that was all Christian. Nothing wrong with that, but I really don't feel that kids need to be indoctrinated with the Evangelical going to go to hell sinner, but Jesus loves you messages. No thanks. They are also responsible for destroying two more iconic destinations in the town: The Bay Cafe (Bay Window) and the Bay Theater. For a so called organization that prides itself on maintaining the family, this speaks of greed and impropriety to me. They also destroyed 3 places that were very family friendly and had been for decades. All lost and gone in a matter of a few years. The city of Caseville needs to realize that with this presence, many families, such as ours, will seek out other vacation spots and for many, including our family - different communities to live in within the area. Reducing tax monies and putting other viable small business at risk in the town as folks will take their hard earned money and head across the Bay or to Port Austin or Bad Axe.

Been here for a few wrestling shows hosted by pure pro wrestling.. it's definitely unique…read more. The tickets are cheap to get into the local Pure Pro Wrestling showcases.. and they're definitely giving us our money's worth of entertainment. The seating is not that comfortable but the shows are fun, crowded, boisterous and energetic!! Tickets are cash only and the concessions are cash only, but they do have a bar and the events have meet and greets and merch tables.. They do have hockey games here as well, and those are also nice.. good cheap family friendly entertainment... While the place looks like it could stand a bit of a renovation, the low budget ambience fits in here.. I like it..

This is an older ice arena located in Flint / Schwartz Creek area. There are two sheets of ice…read morehere, and it's home to several ice hockey programs and high school programs. If you are attending a hockey game here, the main things you want to be aware of are: 1) It's freezing inside. Even by ice arena standards, it's quite cold and there is no radiant heating system. Bring some gloves and a blanket. 2) The lighting is just so-so, but the sight lines are great. Plenty of good seating and standing options. 3) Quality of ice is very good, benches are clean and decent sizes. 4) Locker rooms are tiny, a Pee Wee or larger team is going to need 2 rooms (adjoining rooms share a shower). This rink is home to a few famous players, most notably Tim Thomas and Brian Rolston among other, mostly college players. I was an amazing rink when it was built, but now it's mostly just a community rink with a snack bar, skate rental, etc. I don't think it has Live Barn, but it did have wifi.
