I am traveling from west Los Angeles, California USA. The salon is small and no frills but they spare no expense in the products they use or the service they provide. As you can see from my pictures, my hair went from brassy oranges and yellows to a beautiful silky silver in a couple hours. Ana fixes my hair and told me proper hair care to insure my hair stays fresh for longer. I also got a trim and got styled. My hair is now silky, ombréd, and wedding ready! I'm literally so happy with the results I could cry! My boyfriend came in for a fresh fade for his hair too. He usually goes to super high end barbers back home but since our trip was so last minute, we came here for all our hair needs. Phanny took care of him and his hair looks better than what it looks like with the high end barbers. They really know Asian hair and their service is top notch. Received a rude message back after making an appointment recently online saying they are booked to capacity which according to their online bookings is not true and go find somewhere else. One of the hairdressers refused to cut my hair last year due to me only wanting a trim. I had to go back twice as didn't do the colour right the first time. Never have I been treated so badly by a salon ever.

I went into Hairhouse Warehouse in the DFO because I needed hair-dye to fix my regrowth, because I was already at the DFO and because I assumed it would be a little cheaper than my local one. Having approached the owner to ask his advice, I discussed with him for several minutes about which strength peroxide mix would be the best to get to mix with the colour, as my red was initially dyed over bleached blonde and my regrowth was brown. He agreed that the strongest bleach would be the best. So far so good. Then he refused to sell it to me. I walked out carrying a weaker strength solution, which resulted in a stripe of browner red than the rest of my hair. Later I found out that sometimes hairdressers are disinclined to sell the strong bleach to us mortals because it might "cause a tingling sensation". I've been dying my hair for years, and am well aware that by doing it myself I am at fault. I take care, I know the products, and I ask advice. So why give me advice and then refuse to let me follow it? Ugh.

He said it would strip the hair and said he wouldnt do it. So i went to another salon where i was told this would be fine, had my hair done there for half the price. It looks and feels amazing and was much cheaper. I dont understand what people think they are paying for at this place, the staff aren't even knowledgeable and their services are of the same standard as any other decent salon, you are just charged through the nose for it.
