We had so much fun we went back on Sunday night just expecting good energy and live music. We coincidentally made friends in line and the bouncer asked if we wanted a table that would allow us to cut to the front of the line. Minimum was $500 and there were 5 of us so we said yes. To our surprise Bruno came out again!!! No one ever knows when or if he will be there and we were lucky enough to see him 2 nights in a row, and made friends along the way. It was truly a magical experience, Bruno was the cherry on top but even without him making a suprise performance, Pinky Ring is still such a unique vibe I think everyone who visits Vegas should experience. I have no photos to post, just as intended :) The security was very strict about no photos. We were so impressed how well they caught every person, shining lasers at their camera and spotlighting them then escorting them out. Don't be that person, they will catch you and kick you out and make you delete any photos or videos (even from recently deleted, I asked). Just enjoy the experience with the people around you. No one else has to see photos to believe you, and even if they did they would not fully understand the vibe and experience because they weren't there. For around $14-$18 a drink, I expect better. Their "zombie" drink was a joke. No flavor at all (it used to be good years ago). Sadly, this will be our last visit here. With so many cool bars in Vegas, I'd rather go to one that appreciates our business. This place no longer does and it showed so tonight. BTW, I read that a new large Tiki bar will be opening soon in Vegas so will try that one out once it does. We were at the Rio to see a show, and after the show decided we wanted to keep hanging out there and enjoying. At one of the bars we randomly stopped at on the property before the show, one of the bartenders gave us a buy one get one free cocktail for VooDoo Lounge if we went. And there was no cover charge to get in! Sold! We decided to head up there after the show. This spot is locaed on the 51st (I believe) floor of the hotel but you enter on the second floor and take an elevator up. After a quick check our IDs and search of our bags and whatnot, we were able to take the elevators upstairs. As soon as we got there, I booked it for the outside patio. I mean, come on, you have to! This is really what sold me. WOW! It's STUNNING up there! Amazing views on the Strip unlike anything I've ever seen before. There was also a DJ up there and he was playing great music. For a Friday night, it wasn't super busy, but still really nice. We were able to sit wherever we wanted, as the tables and lounge seating was totally open for everyone to enjoy. We took in the beautiful views and each had a cocktail. Our server was outstanding and did a great job waiting on us. Sadly, we were getting a Vegas thunderstorm underway so the DJ had to stop and security all ushered us inside. Still, nonetheless, this was such a cool experience and one I'll continue to talk about. The 3 of us ordered a fishbowl which was great but we didn't stay longer because the place was empty and the DJ played the same beat for the entire hour we were there. It's a shame that this has gone so downhill. When I went to the bathrooms I noticed the water damage on the walls and the lack of maintenance so it sealed my fate to not return for a while.
