Wow!! 10 Star service! Diagnosed my issue, went out of their way to find warranty approval. From their receptionist to field tech (Codi) and Tom for resolve, I'm very pleased! They haven't even finished the job yet and I'm super pleased and impressed! read more

This company is AMAZING. They provide quality work, efficient, trustworthy and reasonable. They did not try to oversell like other companies and I could not be more pleased. Also, they were HALF the cost of Service Champions' lowest bid. Their guys were polite, friendly and respectful. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I also needed additional work done by other companies, and they had quality referrals as well. Excellent company! read more

Eric has left the company and I had a new service technician, Josh, out yesterday but he wasn't very professional and also didn't seem to know what he was doing nor have much HVAC experience. Now I'm frustrated I have to pay $120 for the 1 hour service call and also pay more money because now I am going to find a new HVAC company for a second opinion and to do the repairs. Kelly, the office manager at Rohan & Sons is always wonderful though, I just had a bad experience with Josh and would not recommend Josh but the other Rohan & Sons employees have been great in the past. Bummer that Eric is no longer with the company. read more

Very serious and super honest! My furnace was not working correctly and they tried everything they could to avoid a replacement which was appreciated. Eventually replacement was inevitable and they were very competitive price wise. The entire team is great and they genuinely care. Will use them again for all my hvac needs read more

I called 3 local contractors to give me a bid for replacing my ac duct system. They were very responsive. Tom prepared a detailed quote, and their price was excellent. They came out to do the job and were very professional. Vance took the time to go over everything, and they completed it quickly. They cleaned up, swept up couldn't have been nicer. I'd hire them again without hesitation. read more

Tom was the associate that came to look at my air conditioning unit. The level of sincerity and honesty and quality of work is something we all wish we saw more of nowadays. I had been told that the motherboard on my furnace was out and my quotes were $12,000-$16,000 to fix it. Tom figured out that the outlet that the furnace was plugged into was no longer working. This turned into a $350 problem. Thank you so much, Tom, I will always refer you and Ronan and Sons! read more

They did it again! Amazing service... we had trouble with a controller for our heater (during a cold spell). They were here in less than two hours! Only took them a few minutes to diagnose the problem. All we needed were batteries! Again, talk about honest! We have the utmost respect for the work and quality. Hire these guys!! You'll be glad you did!! read more

Within two days of contacting Rohan and Sons, Kelly scheduled technicians to come to us in San Juan Capistrano. The technicians (Omar and Chris) were prompt polite and professional. They diagnosed the problems and parts that were needing replacement then came a second time once parts were received. We all cannot say enough good things about our experience from beginning to end. Very fair and reasonable pricing and there is a reason they have been in the business so long. Don't hesitate to contact them. read more

As their website notes, "Many large-scale companies in the area inflate prices and fail to work in the best interest of the clients they serve. When you work with Rohan & Sons HVAC, you get a team that works within your budget restrictions. Our affordable heating repair and installation services provide local customers the TRANSPARENCY they deserve. As their website notes." Prior to finding out about Rohan @ Sons HVAC, I had a new Tempstar evaporator coil and condenser installed. Tempstar requires an annual cleaning service in order to maintain the terms of their warranty. When I called for this annual cleaning, I was told to do it myself. A bit later, my doctor told me her tests showed I had been contaminated by mycotoxins from mold. A mold specialist was recommended by this doctor and she asked me to have my installer provide instructions on how to get access the evaporator coil to sample it for mold. I called the installer and was told to provide this access "it would be an all-day job." Then he tried to BS me saying that when my furnace went on it would kill the mold. Wrong on both statements-so I called the manufacturer to get information on how to access the coil and was told they do not have this information, saying only their local installers have this information. They gave me the phone number of this rep, who told me that he would not provide it either, "because the company does not want to be liable, since the mold inspector might electrocute herself." NOT Rohan TRANSPARENCY. This is my experience with Rohan & Sons! When Louis and Chris from Rohan came out to remove this furnace (also contaminated by the mold) they arrived early. I apologized because I had not moved a lot of items in front of the furnace before they arrived. They told me "no problem" and moved most of these items before I could get to them. After removing the evaporator coil and furnace, I asked if the coil cleaner I had was one they would recommend. Louis recommended one he had. " No problem" he also cleaned my coil for me-and would not let me pay for it. After this I asked questions about using my air scrubber to bring in a fresh air supply to prevent future mold-"no problem." He knew how to do this, vs. three other HVAC installers who did not know how to do this. Their website also states "If you prefer a brand you don't see above, give us a call to discuss your options. We're here to answer all your questions and ensure our services meet your requirements." I can vouch for this. I had selected a new furnace based on the amount of consumer information a manufacturer was willing to supply to me as a homeowner, as well as the reliability of their furnace. I asked Rohan & Son to install it. They again said "no problem" and that they will instal it for me. I asked an HVAC business I called previously if they would install this brand and was told, basically, "It's my way or the highway" refusing to install any other brand but theirs." DrBruce read more

Rohan and Sons was recommended by a close family friend who owns and operates Pacific Coast Copper Repipe based in Anaheim. Throughout our experience with Rohan and Sons team, at least 10 years, we have been so grateful for that referral. Calling them is like calling a friend. They are so nice and have taken excellent care of all our HVAC needs. Everyone at Rohan & Sons, thank you so much!!! read more

My heater fan quit blowing though the burner continued heating. I contacted Rohan and Sons, spoke with Kelly (very pleasant and helpful on the phone), and was told the technician would come the next day. The technician, Luis, arrived near the end of the projected time window, figured out the problem and fixed it within less than an hour. The final cost was slightly over the price for just the diagnostic service call, because of an extra $40 to replace the parts that had failed. Additionally, Luis cleaned the heat sensor, reattached some insulation that had come loose, and left everything in a clean state. All in all, one of the best experiences with a service call of any type, especially HVAC related. Highly recommended. read more

Once again I have had a steller experience with Rohan. They do the maintenance service for a commercial property that I manage and they've worked on my home equipment as well as that of my friends and clients. The technicians are skilled and the prices are reasonable. This time I called them for some advice on an AC unit at my daugher's apartment complex. Kelly responded immediately and had Tom call me. He spent a good 10 minutes with me listening and explaining what needed to be done and why. He could have easily just given me the basic information. His professionalism, expertise and thoughtful customer service sets them apart. read more

I don't write many reviews but had to for Rohan & Sons. They installed an A/C unit in our home two weeks ago. I had a few companies bid the job and they gave me the best bid. They scheduled us for install but moved us up two weeks when they had a client have to stall for permits. Yesterday I turned our system on for the first time since they installed and it didn't blow cold. Today is Saturday and I called them only to find out they were closed. I then emailed them so they knew I had an issue when they returned Monday. About an hour later I got a call from Tom asking what was going on. He told me he was busy but was trying to get a hold of one of their guys to see if they could get someone out today to look at it. Bill (I believe) called later and let me know he was going to stop by! He did, found the problem and fixed us up. He was so nice about it even on his day off! That's a company who takes pride in their business. If you have heating or A/C issues/needs your crazy if they are not your first call. Promise! read more

I have used this company for almost 20 years (3 different residences as they service most of Southern California) and have never been disappointed. They are always knowledgable, timely, and honest! Every technician they have sent has offered great expertise and polite service. Most recently, Eric gave EXCELLENT SERVICE and fixed everything we needed quickly and completely; finding problems that we did not know but that needed to be fixed. We can't thank him enough and everyone at this outstanding service company. Kelly was wonderful when I called and expedited service offering the same day or next morning. Heating unit broken: Tom was at my home with in an hour of my initial call. Went over the unit, explained thoroughly what needed to be done. Was considerate of my home and time. Great first impression of this company. Just had Dan and Steve at my house replacing my heating unit. Nothing is ever good about your A/C going out. Always that unexpected expense & experience that no one ever wants. After calling around, ended up speaking to Dean Rohan of Rohan & Sons. We bought a bank owned home, and it was an as is sale. Sure there was an inspection & warranty in place ... but amazingly the inspector only inspected things that were in working order. That included the furnace (because it was new and the A/C was apparently disconnected?) Long story short, Dean gave us a more than fair quote, showed up on time, knocked out a complete new system for much less than the other quotes. Happy with everything. Thank you Rohan & Sons, you made a horrible situation much easier to swallow. read more

Tom at Rohan and Sons is seriously professional and is the most patient person. He gave me a quote and went above and beyond in helping us convince our overly nervous and fussy HOA president that the mini-ductless system was quiet and would work for our townhouse. Tom even talked to the HOA guy for 45 minutes. He worked with that and our contractor and did a great job with no hassle. He did an incredibly good job and I would recommend them highly to get the job done. Their know-how and patience is amazing. read more

You have an HVAC issue, don't think twice, Rohan & Sons are there to take care of it for you! Tom and Kelly will make it happen, there's no one I'd trust to take care of my home. Over the years, Rohan has maintained several properties for me and installed AC in two homes. Couldn't be more pleased. And if that's not enough, I needed duct repair work done, they were right there. Breyden and Zane are my heroes, they did the job and made sure I was covered. its a rarity these days to find a company like Rohan and Sons . I called the other day to set up an appointment to have my A/C looked at - it just wasn't getting cool enough. The woman who answered the phone was so polite and friendly! right away she was on it- She had one of their technicians come out to the house just a couple of days later. their business is based in San Clemente and my home is all the way down in La Mesa! an hour drive, for sure! normally, I wouldn't. have called a business so far away but- i heard how amazing they were. When the technician arrived, he was such a nice upbeat young man. We chatted a little bit- he was so personable- had the biggest smile on his face..His name is Luis Rios. He figured out the problem within minutes, fixed it and off he went...He told me he was thrilled to be working for Rohan and Sons. All I have to say is WOW! I will never trust another company for my HVAC. The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly, they answered all my questions and helped me find the right AC for me. They also educated me on preventative maintenance to keep my unit running longer. In addition to all this, their drop cloths kept my home as clean as it was when they entered. By far my best HVAC experience. Highly recommend for your home or commercial needs. read more

Awful, this company overcharges for poor work and like many of the previous reviews have stated this company is unwilling to fix mistakes. The woman I spoke was very hostile and frequently interrupted me before outright hanging up. This company installed a heating unit and left one of the wires to close too the pilot flame causing the wire to melt and the safety system to activate. When they came to fix the heater a week later they said the system had been left on to long and thats why the heater had shut off. They left the melted wire until the heater shut off a second time forcing them to admit their mistake and rewire the unit. However, they still charged us an obscene amount for "negligence" claiming the labor was not covered under the warranty. Bottom line: They take no pride in their work. Their carelessness can become outright dangerous. Very hostile customer service. read more

I just hung up the phone with John the owner who was a very belligerent person. I used Rohan several months back to check on an air conditioning issue. The technician was polite, but left the job a mess. Wires were left completely unconnected and he said that we needed to get a new unit. When I asked John if this was standard practice, he said "you got what you paid for and you are d**m right we are going to charge you to clean up this mess." This used to be a decent company, but after the owner's rude and unprofessional comments, I would think twice before considering this contractor. read more

I could some up the quality of work and service in one word Awesome. But that's not enough. Rohan & Sons cares about their customers concerns and is willing to take the extra initiative to insure satisfaction. This company is a complete package, professional, courteous, and dedicated.
