So I call up my husband via Siri and ask him to find me a place to have this checked out. He calls Super Lube Plus in Benson, AZ. I had about 8 miles to go, so I basically took it slow around 55-60 with my lights flashing so the other semis and cars would not think I was crazy driver. I arrive to Super Lube and immediately they greet me and ask me to wait inside while they check my car. The oil level was about 2/3. And I had no leaks. So they were thinking it was a sensor. They put in a bit more oil to just to see if the sensor liked it with a bit more oil. These gentlemen were awesome! So polite and helpful. Explained and showed me the level and didn't want to charge me for the service. I shook their hands and told them how grateful I was for them and their help. It is a huge peace of mind to arrive at a place you are using as an emergency and feel so thankful for their professionalism! Thank you so much for your help today!!

They fit him right in. They stayed late and they were very kind. The brake peddle was soft for the remainder of the drive home and it pulled to the left. We took it to the local Brake Masters on Frontage road and Angel told hubby that he needed front and rear brakes. We knew better and just asked them to do a bleed out on those brakes on the front. We knew we needed rear but had to wait until another day for that. Angel was rude and disrespectful and wrote notes about the jeep being unsafe to drive. Two days later, my husband was inspecting the pull to the left and realized that the speed sensor had been severed as the line was not fed through the route correctly and it had rubbed on the frame until it severed. This was not in his notes. He bought the 30.00 part and threaded a new one through on his own and while he was doing this, he saw that the brake line on the front right was upside down!!! This was not in the notes. These are both things that the local brake masters should have repaired free of charge if they were noticed. We DO NOT RECOMMEND BRAKE MASTERS!!! No we cannot in clear conscience recommend either of those locations. We could have been killed.

We figured the alternator was shot and, considering that I had a U-haul trailer with all of my plunder and two dogs in the cab, Bill devised a plan to nurse the truck to their shop. They were kind enough to let me roll out my bedroll out front for the night, and when Bill and Jessie (the owner) got to work just after sunrise, Bill had a thermos of that lifesaving nectar, coffee. That bit alone was above and beyond, but they had the alternator replaced and me up and running before nine this morning. These are good guys and they run a tight ship, if you are stuck or just need work done on your rig in the Santa Cruz Valley, look for Luna's!
