In which I've asked every one of them to keep the temperatures manageable. I have had a heat stroke, and when the club is at 80 degrees it is a health concern to have a heat stroke victim's core temperature get out of control. I would always get ignored. Recently, my husband and I had had enough after my 7 years of membership and brought it up again. We were charged $120, per person, a year for a maintenance fee on top of our monthly dues. We approached the GM and she video conferenced Dennice Young, a regional manager. Dennice proceeds to tell us that we can't have access to the ceiling fans, that my health issue really isn't a problem in their gym and they can't be sued if I fall down from heat exhaustion, refused to give us the phone number of anyone higher up, and started yawning when I was presenting my complaint. She also said it was a HIPAA violation to give that information out, yet I see right here on Yelp that it talks about Brian, the owner, and even what city he lives in. I'm not interested in being insulted and my business not valued. She also would not tell us what the additional $120 per person was used for, as there have never been any new additions to the club to warrant the fee. She basically said the owner had the discretion of doing what he wants and we don't deserve to know as members. After 7 years it is abundantly clear that anytime fitness doesn't really want my money and loyalty and won't ever have it again. The customer service is abhorrent and if I could give it less than one star I would. Anytime, do yourself a favor and get rid of Dennice, she is not doing you any favors in keeping your members around. In fact, a few others have told me they are canceling their membership because they can't get good customer service there either.

if you could put no stars I would. owner is shady. has a bad attitude when you call her out…read more tried to cancel out on wrong form. but instead a hold/ change form. clearly out want to cancel. instead of reaching out to me to clarify. she held my fee for 2 minutes this then charged me on the 3rd and 4th and 5th. contacted through text for months. took forever to get back. took her almost 2 months to find my form I cancelled on. and then had me come down and fill out correct form and informed me that I'd still be charged another fee due to the 30 days cancellation. this woman had no empathy for the error. even though we had been communicating and me telling her multiple times I did not want to hold service wanted to cancel. this cost me almost 150$ because I fill out wrong form to cancel. which she had that form away from the others so I never even seen it. nice gym. shady owner. not worth it.

Try to be nicer and less argumentive and your business will make it . Your attitude is the only thing that will hold it back and your cleaning staff is not what it use to be or they don't come in and sanitize those bathrooms or dusk anymore and put more personal space between your cardio . However, I'm really disappointed in the customer service and membership handling. I'm currently on my second pregnancy, and for health reasons I was not able to work out for a period of time. I kept my membership going for about three months even though I wasn't attending, and eventually decided I needed to cancel. Because you can't cancel in person, I submitted my cancellation online within their stated cancellation window. By the time they responded, it was already one day past that window. They told me they would refund the next month's charge since I'd been charged anyway. That refund never happened. I had to call three or four times, go back and forth, and still never received the refund I was promised. I've also tried calling on two separate occasions recently and no one answered the phone. In the end, I'm out about $170 for a month I was told would be refunded, on top of the previous months I kept the membership active while unable to use it. I had even told them I planned on coming back once I was cleared to work out again, but this experience has really changed how I feel about the company. The workouts and coaches are truly great, but the way my cancellation and refund were handled has been very frustrating and discouraging, especially as a long-time member and pregnant mom trying to do the right thing.
