The one problem, and I still don't really know if it was the park or what. Our power was crazy. We had never had that issue before. We didn't know if it was something electrical that went wrong. It happens. We could only use so many things at once. We got to a new park today and everything is fine. So not sure what happened if it was us or them. Do with that what you will.

The Harley motorcycles revving up their motors and loud traffic all night long didn't make for the best nights sleep to say the least, however, again, I can't blame the owners or the managers. It's right in the middle of the city. I don't understand why there aren't noise ordinances in place and why is speeding and LOUD motorcycle revving "ok?" all day & night? The park is clean and provided all the needs. They were able to fit us in with a 24 hour notice. Thank you for that!

We found a site and booked it, made a deposit and took paperwork and restaurant suggestions. There was a slight problem with out booking when we got a call asking if we were still coming. We got it settled and had no problems after that. The sites was long enough for our trailer and truck in front. Thanks to Dean who helped direct us in because he got us farther back than I would because of a box in back. He was so kind and helpful!! this was a disappointing stop after a wonderful 6 day roadtrip along the Organ coast…read more placed our reservation thinking we paid for a lovely riverside camp site. come to find out upon arrival the site was a gravel unmarked drive way with the very loud sound of the freeway. not sure of our site we drove back up to the office of course, knowone there (office hours 10 to 3pm) called office manager Amanda and recieved a very unwelcoming response to our question and verification of camp site. drove back to site , hooked up sat down, got back up unhooked and spate gravel out of there...so worth leaving our $64.50 behind.

The owners asked for payment but he refused. The campground itself was clean and well kept. The owners were so nice and very accommodating to any of our needs. People were laughing and just having a great time. Couldn't have asked for anything better. They even have a little store there that you can get anything you may have forgotten to bring. I will not only return again, but also refer anyone I know to stay a weekend or longer there. They have cabins and even covered wagons you can stay in. One of the best places around.

Spacious well maintained sites, beautiful shade trees, kind staff, dog park, and clean. We are so grateful to the owners that they did not cave to pressure, they dropped their affiliation, and are keeping this campground as a beautiful destination to be cherished.
