As someone who's tried a ton of workout gear over the years, I can confidently say I've found a winner when it comes to leggings and activewear that combines comfort, support and durability. I had to start wearing black pants to work again, and remember how my original Rogiani's from way back in the day (7+years, gulp) were my go-to favorites. However, from the obvious washing (follow the tag instructions) and wearing, they were 'showing their use', so I was determined to get a new pair similar to the ones I already owned. Seeing a pair marked down that I had liked a while back, unfortunately I had waited too long and these were no longer available (metal/black sport band legging). However another color in the same style caught my attention (royal/black) so I figured I would take a gamble on these, and the waistband would be hidden by my top anyway. An upside is if you live in the Los Angeles area, you are welcome to come pick them up in their showroom on Beverly. Let me say the fantastic customer service I have received from Adam and Elisabetta herself via email ensure that I will be buying from them again. Elisabetta was there to greet me and make sure my measurements were in order so I could get the same sizing on my next purchase (if I don't grow, that is). This is my first experience with the designer, but certainly not the last one. I first spotted ER leggings on couple of my yoga instructors, and they looked GOOD. So I decided to try out the label with some sale items. I ended up getting a black rolldown legging, a long sleeve top and a cropped legging. All three are fantastic! I took the top and the rolldown legging to a barre class today and they were amazingly comfortable and soft. Still to try the crops, but I am sure they will do as well in yoga. Service: nothing short of amazing. I am out of town now and had to ship the items. Elizabetta and Robert answered all of my questions in email without making it feel like a nuisance (given how inexpensive the whole order was). Elisabetta Rogiani is the most manipulative, conniving, and unprofessional person I've ever had the unfortunate chance of encountering in my life. She thinks she's a genius and thinks she knows what's best for everyone. She doesn't listen to or care about your wants and needs, though she likes to pretend and say she does. She says that "she doesn't pressure people to do anything" but then she will forcefully and incessantly push her own agenda and desires onto you until you agree. I wanted a specific size, color, and style but she kept suggesting other things that I did not want!! She will not let you do or buy what you want! She also won't let you make returns if you don't like the clothes, only exchanges or store credit. And even then, she still tries to push what clothing she thinks is best for you! Not only does she not want to return your money, but you still have to pay for the return shipping yourself!!! She is that cheap! The clothes are not even worth the money. The fabric feels cheap and the stitching on my leggings were so uneven. I wasted my money and time. Stay away!!! Just because she has magazine covers does not mean her clothing is good. Far from it. If you support her, you're supporting someone who gets what they want through manipulating, bullying, and demeaning customers. There are much better quality fitness/active wear designers out there! I have quite a collection of exercise clothing as I have been going to the gym consistently for years, but I find that 90 percent of the time, the only clothing that I put on is made by Rogiani. The material is light and breathable, wears well over time....and I'll be honest....it makes my butt look amazing. The pants look great, but also stay in place while jumping rope, and doing squats. I have a lot of fitness clothing, from Lulu to Nike to Fabletics. None compare to fit and quality of Elisabetta Rogiani. I love these leggings. The material is soft, breathable and feels great. I bought 2 pairs of leggings about 7 or 8 years ago when they were featured in Equinox, and they still look like new after years of wearing and washing. I just bought 2 more pair and they're already my new favorites. If you want leggings that fit well and are extremely flattering, these are the ones to buy. If you are getting something custom fit or unsure of size, Ms Rogiani and her staff will help you get the right fit. If you want to see her clothing, just look at Oxygen Magazine or any number of fitness magazines. They make the models look good but the clothes will make you look good too! I had an excellent experience with Rogiani. I called and left a message about purchasing some leggings and Robert called me back that day he explained its best to make an appointment to come in and see the line, they are not a shop so it's not the same as walking into a lululemon so you can't really compare, Rogiani is custom sportswear. I made an appointment and to my surprise Elisabetta wanted to be there so she could help me with sizing and incase I needed anything special. When I arrived I was the only customer at her showroom so I really felt like she gave me her full attention. She showed me all the different styles and let me try on whatever I wanted. She wasn't pushy and gave me all the info I needed to have my leggings custom made. They were made really fast and I went back to the showroom to pick them up to save on shipping which Is great. I have worn them several times already and I am really really happy with them. I will definitely be ordering more, the fabric is super soft and very comfortable and the designs are really flattering and the fit is perfect. The pricing is comparable to any high end sports wear, but I think a much better deal since they make them for you. BEWARE!! The color "NAVY" as listed on the color card is not at all navy. FYI, THE COLOR "NAVY" DENOTES A SPECIFIC SHADE OF BLUE AND IT DOES NOT HAVE PURPLE UNDERTONES! I suggest you change the name of the color so that it is not MISLEADING.I had a very bad experience with Elisabetta. She told me that I should not have expected the color navy, as depicted on the paper card, to resemble the actual colors. Why do you send this card out to consumers and depict it on your website if they do not represent the actual colors? Elisabetta refused to exchange the pants after she told me to return them and I paid for the return shipping. She insulted me with her best offer of a 10% discount on another pair. Many stores around here do not carry this line because they are difficult to deal with and now I completely understand this. Not only will I never purchase from this line again, I will not even wear the stuff I own because I don't want to promote the line at all.
