Confusion in the posting of visitation and service which I think are one in the same. Visitation 4-6 Service 5-TBD was posted. Family was told 4-8 some family weren't able to come pay their respects and we were told at 6:45 the service had ended. Some of us were confused and that we were rushed out. When you are grieving confusion isn't something anyone wants to deal with.

Burying a loved one is never easy and I was not looking for the place where I could only get the most "bang for my buck". I was looking for a place that would take the same care and love of my mom that she took of me while I was growing up and I felt she deserved after her passing. I worked closely with Paige, the funeral director, who although she looks young - took the time and consideration to go over all the details with my brother and I multiple times and answer our countless questions. When planning a wake and funeral - it is a mad dash to put it mildly - you are grieving but there are all these moving parts that have to be put in place in a short period of time. We were luck to have Paige, and the entire staff of O'Brien Funeral Home with us during the entire process. They helped tailor the wake to truly honor her and make the day of the funeral as seamless as possible - snow and all.
