We have used Ratell's in the past at least three times, all under the direction of a different funeral director with good service. The errors that occurred are too many to list but suffice it to say the following: a funeral director should not be late to his own services and then talk on his cell phone instead of opening the door for grieving families during the wake. Do not call the daughter at 7:30am on the day of the funeral planned for 11:00am and ask "can we move this up to 9:30, I have another funeral to do." Spell the deceased's name correclty, get the date of death correct, not one year before she actually passed (this was engraved on her plaque for all to see). The poor attention to details, the lack of service and the outright lies were ridiculous. If you can use another facility, do so. The funeral home is owned by Carriage Services who just released their 4th quarter stockholders report. Surprise, the company stock is down by 14.2% for the last quarter of 2017. Wonder why?? You had one job to do, you failed miserably.

I planted some asta there forever ago and it's still alive and strong. It's a great place to walk and go on bike rides as well. Lots of hills and roads and beautiful tombstones to look at. It's a very peaceful place.
