I researched…read morethe area and saw Chelmsford Primary Care had great reviews, and that Dr. Sun was accepting new patients. My husband and I got our appointments within 2 weeks of contacting the practice and they were one right after another which made it so easy for us. When we arrived, the women at the front desk were SO kind and helpful, and they truly made us feel at home right away. The medical assistant (she had pink hair) was so friendly and very good at her job. Dr. Sun is easily the best PCP I've ever had, and I knew that right off the bat. Not only is she incredibly warm and kind, but she is thorough, upbeat, understanding and truly listens when you bring up a concern. She made me feel comfortable within seconds of meeting her and I could tell she not only cares deeply about her patients, but she is an excellent doctor. My husband had an equally positive experience with her. We are very happy to have found Chelmsford Primary Care and Dr. Sun, and we hope to be patients here for many years to come.

And when you call back to get any sort of help, you get screamed at by the oncall doctor who is unhelpful, and does not understand empathy or pain of patients who have to do so much to advocate for themselves over and over again to get access to SINGLE MEDICATION? I came at 1:45pm to be seen. After 5pm, the prescription finally gets sent out. When it gets sent out, I'm on the phone with over 5+ pharmacies, over and over again who all say they dont have the medication, but they do have the elixir form. I call the oncall doctor (who is not my doctor because I'm running out of time, and pharmacies will close) to see she can send the elixir form and she starts screaming at me saying I shouldn't be using the phone. Rupa Reddy, you're a sick awful severely deranged person. I have had a severe mouth sores for over a week hoping they can help, and now the day is over, everyone left, and I did not receive my medication, and I'm in severe pain. Thats just how awful this office is, they don't give a shit about their patients.

Even the new NP is very nice and knowledgable, she also does home visits for the elderly. It is like the old school medicine, when the doctor comes to you, instead of you to the doctor. This was my first time going to urgent care in my life and honestly I was BLOWN AWAY. I called the…read moreoffice at around 7:35 PM and spoke to someone named Ali; I frantically explained to her my symptoms and she was beyond calm, explaining that I could come in before 8PM and then be seen. Just her calm demeanor off the bat was able to put my worries to the side. I walked in at 7:45 PM, and if you work in any field where you deal with people and they walk in 15 minutes before closing you already hate them, the receptionist was super friendly, professional and beyond fast. She got me checked in and billed all in about a 10 minute span and I was called into the back by Ali, who turned out to be a medical assistant. She took my vitals and a comprehensive background, and I was seen by PA Simone right after that. Within 10 more minutes I was in X-RAY finishing up and getting my EKG, moments after, PA Simone came in and was giving me the breakdown and explained to me what she believed I was suffering from. She was extremely knowledgeable and broke down everything for me. I was out the door in no time and on my way. These women are such a good team, and really exemplified the healthcare professional ideology: super caring, professional and not showing one bit of concern for themselves staying well past closing to ensure I was feeling okay. Not once did I feel rushed out or pushed into a treatment that I didn't think made sense. The office was very clean and the exam rooms all the same.

I went in to confirm pregnancy via blood draw after getting several positive tests. I peed as soon as i got there because i just needed a blood draw for school, i did not expect to do a urine test. The medical assistant had trouble with my veins so they did a urine test. Keep in mind 1. I found out really early because I was tracking and 2. It was about 11 in the morning and urine was very diluted because i had to drink water for the urine test after peeing when I got there. The PA comes in and says "it's negative! You're not pregnant." It would have been nicer if he came in and said "it was negative, BUT i know you drank a lot of water in a short amount of time for the urine test so it may be diluted." He knew I was chugging water. He also went through pregnancy symptoms for me and seemed to be skeptical when I told him my breasts were not sore and I didnt have nausea. Because every woman experiences the same symptoms, of course! Long story short I go in to hear the heart beat in a week. Please get more female physicians/ PA's.

If their website wasn't clear before, there are now at least three different places throughout the process of making an appointment online that indicate whether or not your test will be covered. I've shown up both with and without an appointment. If you don't have an appointment, wait time kind of depends on time of day and time of year(around the holidays is busier). Each time I've visited I felt the visit went smooth and my visit was as pleasant as getting swabbed could be.
