What really got our eye was they are down to earth. We got to express how we really feel and so did they. Both of us having an unfiltered mouth, we knew these are the guys we want representing me. What they charge is reasonable no hidden fees. Thank you both for your work with my cases. Although we enjoyed working with you two let's hope we don't ever have to again!!

Fast forward a few months, as I was getting ready to go to work, I get a text message from the court about an hour before the court hearing with a video conferencing link stating that I needed to be present at 10 AM. I had no prior notice or communication from the lawyer. I called the law firm, and the receptionist told me, "the person who can answer your questions about the case won't be in for another hour, so you better attend." I had to ChatGPT some response/plan as I had no idea what to say or do. About 10 minutes right before my court case, that lawyer finally called me and was asking me about the details of my case as if he had just learned about it. He told me that there was a "glitch" and that I should have been informed about the court case with more reminders 2 weeks ahead of the date. He called the prosecutor to cut a "deal" about 5 minutes before the case, which was the worst deal I've ever had with a traffic lawyer that left me paying near the original fine fee and 6 months probation. I don't write reviews lightly, but my experience with Fillmore Spencer was deeply disappointing…read more My wife and I cared for my grandfather in his home for over a decade. During a critical court case involving his situation, the firm failed to appear at the scheduled hearing. I had to call the attorney myself to ask where they were. When they finally arrived, they were completely unprepared. As a result of how the case was handled, my grandfather was ultimately forced to leave his home and move into a retirement facility, where he later passed away. Although Randy later took over the matter and refunded our payment, the damage had already been done. I also retained the firm for a separate criminal matter. I was advised to plead no contest and was told that after five years the record could simply be expunged. When the time came to pursue expungement, I was told they would contact the city prosecutor. Months passed with no updates. My emails went unanswered, and my calls were not returned. Eventually, the attorney handling my case left the firm and apparently did not transfer any meaningful information. Afterward, I was charged again to continue the expungement process, only to be told a week later that there was nothing they could do. No meaningful follow-up was made, and even a simple call to the prosecutor's office was declined. While they offered to refund the second charge, that does not compensate for the wasted time, lack of communication, or the consequences of the legal advice I was given regarding the plea. In both matters, I experienced poor communication, lack of preparation, and a failure to follow through. I cannot recommend this firm based on my experience.

Randy was efficient and mindful about keeping his billable hours down, and he genuinely focused on making sure we were treated fairly.
