I never knew it would be this long but our bodies deliver us challenges that sometimes we have to accept and try our best to overcome them. I was referred to him by my pharmacist at C**. He was the 1st Dr to touch my back in years of muscle spasms. And my face broke out in a sweat. After years of treatment and open communication I am doing very well. I realize that if I was treated as a non human I would still be in agonizing pain and my life would be very difficult as well as mentally exhausted. Because that's what pain does it drains your source of life. I respect Dr Wilson because he listens to me, his staff his very accommodating to scheduling and I don't and can't imagine my everyday life of functioning as a regular human being without the treatment I get here. I am thankful that I am a happy functioning part of the world we call life. I used to live 5 minutes away from his office now I am 40 minutes away and I still choose to come here. He is a respectful Dr to your health and your time. I never wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment time which is important to me.

Dr. Wilson confirmed what I already knew. In the end it cost me nothing. I've worked for at least seven doctors of various fields from my early 20's including radiology and in a laboratory. I also worked on the Detroit Fire Department, EMS Division. I found that depending on the type of specialties, ones doctor may require additional time depending on the case. Doctor Wilson is very meticulous when making a diagnosis. That alone can cause a backup within patient care during a clinic session, in the emergency room or out in the field during an emergency. I found Dr. Wilson to be a very capable doctor who's working during Covid-19, which can cause delays. I also found his staff too be very capable. If there's a problem he could easily have regular bimonthly staff meetings with a focus on improving timely patient scheduling and billing to better meet patient care. Remember, the doctor and his/her staff should function as a family with the patients well-being in the forefront. Would I revisit or recommend? Yes.

Being naive about back surgeries we thought my husband was getting the best care he could. After the 2nd surgery failed miserably a friend suggested that we see Dr. Nicholas Shroeder at OSOC. Within minutes of meeting with us he explained clearly why the first two surgeries had failed. By this point my husband is in constant pain and can no longer stand up straight. Dr. Shroeder explained what he felt the best course of action was going to be for Tom's situation. Dr. Shroeder had the new pieces needed for Tom's back made specifically for him in France. The previous neurosurgeon had just grabbed any rods and screws within reach. That was what kept Tom from standing upright. The picture on the right shows the neurosurgeon placed straight rods in his back. Losing the natural curve is what kept him from ever standing straight and in excruciating pain. The picture on the left is what was needed to give Tom the ability to walk and have a good quality of life again. This shows the difference between an excellent surgeon and one who should never be allowed to practice medicine again. The day of the surgery was a very long one. Dr Shroeder performed the 14 hour surgery to correct the neurosurgeon's mess. He actually had to rebuild Tom's back vertebrae by vertebrae. There were a few appointments before the surgery and a few during the next year. It is a 3 hour drive each way for appointments/surgery. Both my husband and I feel that the drive back and forth saved his life. I do not say that lightly. It's been 6 years since his surgery at OSOC and we are so grateful to Dr. Shroeder and his wonderful staff, especially Liz. Their knowledge, patience, compassion and kindness is so appreciated.

He did my full right knee replacement 8 years ago and a full left knee replacement almost one year ago. Both surgeries were a great sucess with a speedy recovery. Dr. Kassab and his team are on top of the latest science and technology. They have their own Physical Therapist who are wonderful to work with, so friendly, encouraging, and knowledgeable. A broken bone and casting are very scary things to deal with when you're seven-years-old, but everyone explained very patiently what they were doing to help my son, and he calmed down and felt better. When he wasn't so stressed out, the healing could begin. Everyone from the woman on the phone making our appointment, to the assistants who got us situated in rooms, to the x-ray techs who took new pictures of the break each time, to those lucky souls who got to cut off the old casts (the loudest part, and my son's least favorite) were excellent. While we hope never to need them again, this would be our first call if we were dealing with a similar emergency again.

He couldn't locate a serious spinal disorder on my MRI (two doctors later did the same month) and he was not familiar with how to non-invasively treat a condition that should be in his wheelhouse. He kept telling me he "couldn't help me." I've never had a doctor give up so quickly on me during an appointment. He kept trying to slowly back out of the room. He also argued with me that epidural steroid injections are safe, despite the fact I was seeing him for a spinal injury caused by an epidural. His advice was to check my vitamin d levels... The front desk check-in was also a clunky experience. There were also no nurses and nobody taking notes about me.

Clegg and Guest is a place that you can walk into and feel, not just comfortable, but welcomed. In the 2 months I did my PT there, I felt at ease, unpressured, guided and cared for. There was not one single employee that EVER had an attitude, was cross or ac like the were unapproachable. Bre was my therapist who was not only great at muscle manipulation but in tune with the interior workings of my injured shoulder. She is really amazing! The young people who guided me through the strengthening exercises were also absolutely enjoyable. Liam, Dominic, Pierce and Jen were all very careful, helpful and supportive every step of the way.
