I had multiple consultations on why I was still in pain and called this office and they had the audacity to tell me that I needed a referral to come back to see them instead of offering to get me in. And now after my third consultation in Greenville they referred me to a peridontist where I now have to pay $2500 to have skin grafting done where I had my wisdom tooth removed. Conveniently easy to find right next to the ODDITORIUM. The doctor seems to be up to date with modern procedures, explained various options out of which we picked one, and got an instant appointment to get to work. Very friendly and polite staff as well. Comfortable, simple, and easy to understand without leaving the nagging question "what the hell was that?" Price-wise what I expected, so also here no sudden surprises. At some point we needed an impromptu repair, and got immediately an appointment, since it was tiny no charge. This is the guy you want. Very grateful to have found this option.

I recommend going to an oral surgeon that cares about their patients, their families and have respect enough for them to give a heads up and not putting them in a financial crunch without even having the courtesy to give them a heads up. Not everyone is on an oral surgeons salary and maybe The office staff should take some courses on compassion and empathy instead of wealth management.

I had pain in a lower molar and wanted it removed, with intention to later get an implant when funds allow. I did not want a crown, a new filling, whatever. I wanted the tooth pulled and to get it over with. I made an appointment with her expecting no issues, like before. I drove two hours to see her and my mother hired care for my 95 year old grandmother AND drove 5 hours to be able to care for me after the extraction. My mother also joined us for the consult because I was very anxious and did not want to forget to ask anything important. Dr. Lane's ENTIRE demeanor was different than our previous visits with her and she refused to pull the tooth. When I tried to defend myself and my bodily autonomy, and when my mother tried to explain the loss of a days pay plus all the miles we had driven in order to see her, she was incredibly rude and unprofessional and actually kicked us out of her office, refusing to speak to us any further. Neither my mother nor myself raised our voices or said anything impolite but she acted like we were bullying her or something when all we wanted was for her to do her job! She said she would refer us to another office but didn't even tell us the name. She used to be someone with compassion who would remove non-visible teeth when her patients could not afford or tolerate the treatment it would take to save the tooth. Now since her practice has been bought out by a bigger company, she is an uppity, corporate shill who is willing to send patients home in pain. She gets offended and rude if you stand up for your right to decide what happens to YOUR own body. I am incredibly disappointed but fortunately I found a surgeon closer to home who took the tooth out with no issues or lecturing whatsoever, at less than half the absurd price she wanted. I put a bunch of unnecessary miles on my car and paid $300 for X-rays and a "consult" only for her to send me home in pain, feeling insulted. I used to recommend her to people all the time, but never again.

Dr Pang then referred me to oral surgery which he said would be best for me instead of doing the job himself. I was very hesitant to go due to bad experiences in other places. I went and it was a wonderful experience. Further more I was able to get a cleaning which was desperately needed. Thank you Dr Pang and your team that made everything come together in my emergency. Oh one more note, the phone system or the email system may be the issue and not the office not responding. (FYI)

I received an excellent cleaning of my teeth at Asheville Holistic Dentist but I would not return…read more I get a lot of tartar on my teeth and the cleaning occurred after I had experienced a very stressful period. However, it was very expensive and to me as a patient, it seemed like the same scraping of my teeth with a metal instrument that I experienced at other dentists. In fact, I asked the hygienist why it was so expensive and as I recall she explained that they use special oxygenated air and water. These were the figures for my billing so others can decide if it is worth it to have the exact same experience as other dentists but with the holistic additions. My billing was as follows: Day one, comprehensive oral exam $163 plus panoramic x-rays $201 for total of $364. Two days later: Full mouth debridement eval $303 and periodontal scaling and root planning of 4 quarters for $1864 (minus $25 Care Credit) done over two visits. Total of evaluations $466 + x-rays $201 + $1839 perio deep cleaning = $2506. I chose not to continue.
