I've been going to this dentist for over a decade and my whole family as well. My experience there today was enough to make me leave this review. like so many other businesses, customer satisfaction is gone! The issue revolves around their business manager and a dentist discussing his world views. Dr. Rhinehardt is not included in my disgust with this place today. Rude, inconsiderate a speaking about my business in an open forum and not even close to having their information straight. After being threatened with collections I called my insurance company myself and they immediately called and informed the manager that they were wrong. It used to be a small family practice, too bad! Too many dentists in this town to be mistreated by any of them. Glad to have excellent benefits. read more

I'm a patient of Dr. Luke Tompkins. He moved to this practice and I followed him here. I've had two appointments now, one for cleaning and one for fillings. I'm impressed with the staff, very efficient and friendly, and the office is clean as a whistle! Highly recommend Dr. Tompkins. Our dauhter has very complicated dental problems and Dr. T helped us get a critical appt with a team in Chapel Hill. Definitely went Above and Beyond. read more

I moved to Asheville a little over 2 years ago and have been really negligent about finding a local dentist for myself. I'm extremely diligent about my kids dental care, but haven't been the greatest about myself. I was long overdue for a checkup / cleaning / xrays and I was so glad to have found Summit Dental on Yelp! I was bracing myself for the worst, but thankfully I just need some minor work done. The other wonderful reviews were spot on! The experience from the moment you walk in the door is extremely inviting and welcoming. The staff is top notch and make you feel very comfortable. The office has a really great ambiance and I just had a really great experience all around! I was impressed at how quickly and easily they were able to take the very comprehensive xrays! They are out of network for my dental insurance, but the amount of coverage was on par with any dentist in network! They are located in the same building as my children's dentist, so it was extremely convenient and easy to find. I'm going back for a couple appointments in July to complete the work, but I'm actually looking forward to it! I highly recommend Summit Dental! read more

2/2024 After being refused help for a supposed dental emergency a (painful Abscess) by 4 different dental local practices including a Sch.of Dentistry and having to make a 40 mile round trip to urgent care for a prescription for antibiotics, I sufferred through 3 weeks of pain, fear & stress without professional help. I called Summit Dental in Asheville, NC -- I was seen the next day--Hallelujah! Modern state of the art office, excellent, friendly & caring staff & Dentist. Although I have serious dental trauma issues, I was immensley relieved and felt safe in their care. Thank you Courtney, Christy, Amber & DR. OKAY YALL SIT DOWN BC IMA SPIT SOME TRUTH. I've had the hardest time trying to find a good dentist office that a) treated me kindly b) didn't try to scam me. This office now has my heart. Idc where I live, 'till the day I die, I'll go here. When I walked in, the woman at the desk immediately addressed me by name (this was my first time in, so it caught me off guard) and she gave me a tour. They were so informative and friendly that it blew me away. I filled out my forms and when I had a bit of a hiccup with the insurance, the office peeps were sooo patient with me, offering me coffee, tea, juice, anything. When I I went back to get my teeth cleaned, I was offered anything from their "menu" which included aromatherapy, warm neck pillows, and headphones. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was absolutely amazing! She was so fun and attentive that it put me at ease while in the chair. When I was done, the doctor came in and introduced himself, thus making me like the place even more because he was so friendly and informative. As I was leaving, I was handed an actual gift bag and when I looked up on the wall, there was a little chalkboard that said "welcoming new patients" with my name below it. All I can say is wow. Thank you Summit Dental for going above and beyond. You've made me a lifelong customer (and soon, my friends too). read more

My first visit was phenomenal! First off, the staff as an entirety, were so charismatic and respectful. Not only are they knowledgeable, but they engage in conversation with you just the right amount, and you can tell everyone loves working there. They are very prompt when providing services and straightforward with all of the financial aspects of their procedures. You know exactly what your paying for. I had an appt booked out a few weeks and when an earlier slot opened they called to see if I wanted to move my appt up. The facility is cozy and most importantly, extremely clean!! They make sure your comfortable throughout your entire time there. Dr. Rinehart and his assistant (I'm sorry I forgot your name!) made sure I was doing okay the entire time, and he explained what he was doing procedure-wise so I knew where we were at with my dental work. Not only did I leave feeling immensely better, but Dr. Rinehart even reached out in the evening after a few hours, to make sure that I didn't have any pain or issues after my procedure. I've never had such amazing customer service!! I have found my new dental family. I've already scheduled my follow-up and other appt. I can't wait to go back! read more

In addition to his expertise, Dr. Rinehart really listens and cares. Incidentally, his dental hygienist is licensed and certified, which to me made a big difference in the standard of care. Dr. Reinhart is the absolute best! He's thorough, caring, gentle, professional, and has never hurt me. His shots don't even hurt! The office is pleasant and comfortable, not that I've ever had to wait for more than a couple of minutes, and the staff is amazing.
