They also have a veggie avocado sandwich... the cheese on it is goat cheese... so if you don't like goat cheese do not order it. We asked if it was goat cheese and they said no cheese even though we could see it... so that's an example of the language barrier. The workers were very kind and welcoming though! There's not much space to sit in the cafe... but the city itself is quite lovely to walk around with sandwich in hand! Totally worth it! :) Some of our travel buddies got the macarons and stated they enjoyed them as much as the ladiree ones. I personally didn't try it, it they offer macarons as well as many other french desserts

Coffee Shop Sleepy Bear is a one woman show, but she does an amazing job in what is a genuinely excellent cozy atmosphere tucked away in a good location. Service is quick even when traffic starts moving. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? 6,00 CHF for a cappuccino is maybe surprisingly reasonable for Lausanne, and every other menu item was equally reasonable on the price scale. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? This was a good cappuccino, and while I would have loved for there to be a little bear design in the mix it went nicely with the homemade granola bar that I paired it with. Single Star.
